Editor's Note: 3 days ago, we posted Part One of our latest A-O Intelligence Digest. It dealt with urgent news in the Middle East. In Part 2 we deal with the less urgent issues pertaining to the European Union, the severe drought in America and a look at the U.S. Presidential elections with 100 days left to go before the election. We also take a look at what a 2nd term for Obama might bring about.

European Union Situation


The European Union economic situation continues to fester. The crisis with Greece remains unresolved, despite alleged rescue programs. The Greek government has continually failed to live up to the previous agreements and as a result, the IMF bailouts are about to be cancelled, probably sometime in August.

Spain is asking for bailout funds. The asking amount is rumored to be between 500 to 650 billion Euros. Italy is not far behind and France is now reportedly not far from a crisis of its own. Germany's banks are being downgraded and it won't be long before Germany's economy will be pulled down by the collapsing economies of nations already listed. There is an EU bailout fund available reportedly totaling about 1.4 trillion Euros. The Spanish request would take a third to nearly a half of that fund. Germany is reportedly opposed to such a bailout figuring that Spain would return in a short time asking for more money.

As we understand it, there are whispers and rumors within the financial world of a plan to pull the plug on the EU and Euro all at once, but not until other currencies and nations are teetering on the brink, also. The idea is to bring it all down at once and replace it with a single, global currency system. It would be electronic in nature and set the stage for an actual, one-world government. We've heard various dates for such a collapse, including this fall, or this winter, but other sources
suspect it won't happen until 2013 or even 2014.


USA Drought

In the past month, we've not provided any real news coverage concerning the drought situation in the United States, but our American readers are well aware of the drought situation as mainstream media is covering it at length as well as an historic heat-wave that has gripped much of the nation, particularly the middle portion of America and especially the areas where much of America's corn, soybeans and livestock are raised. The latest estimates for this year's crops suggest that already a third of America's corn crop is destroyed and it could become much worse. Some estimate the final toll on the corn crop could be as much as two-thirds or three-fourths. Soybeans are also suffering but not to the same extent as corn. Some varieties of wheat are suffering, but the #2 Red Winter Wheat used to make white bread was spared from much of the drought because of early planting and harvests.

It is not just America that is suffering from drought and crop problems. Other areas of the world are also experiencing crop problems. This leads to a looming food supply problem for next year which translates into higher food prices and even food shortages for some areas. 2013 could be a year of famine for some areas.          




US Politics

We're now at the 100 day mark before the U.S. Presidential elections and we thought it would be a good idea to take a look at the political situation, particularly the Presidential race itself as well as for party control of the Congress.


Race for the White House:

At the 100 day mark before the elections, President Obama and Mitt Romney are nearly tied, neck-n-neck in an overall average of most national opinion polls, according to Real Clear Politics which averaged all the national polls to present an overall assessment of the race. Real Clear shows the President with a 1% point lead.

Various independent political operatives who has consulted for both Democrats and Republicans have been stating for some time now that any sitting president with such opinion poll results is clearly in trouble. In past elections, sitting presidents with such tenuous polling numbers in the summer time and at the 100 day mark have always lost in their bid for re-election.

The Puppet-Masters Decide the Elections:

When I worked for the Reagan-Bush re-election campaign in 1984, one such operative informed me about the behind-the-scenes power-brokers and how they handle choosing the next president. I was told in 1985, after the election that these power-brokers had already determined their choice for candidates for 1988, 1992 and 1996. I was told that George H.W. Bush would defeat Democrat Michael Dukakis in 1988. I was told that in 1992, Bush had the option of either not running or running and throwing the election and being defeated by a young, virtually unknown governor of Arkansas named Bill Clinton. After Bush, the next GOP presidential candidate was to be Kansas Senator Bob Dole. I was also told that the 2000 race had yet to be determined for candidates, but that one of Bush's sons - either Jeb or George W, were actively being considered for the GOP spot and the GOP would win in 2000 and likely hold power for 8 years then the job would revert back to the Democrats.

I was told that those who were named were the "likely" choices in that the elections were "theirs to lose." In other words those chosen in advance did not necessarily have a "lock" on the race if they didn't mess up and do something to cause them to lose favor with the power-brokers.

I dropped out of the political consulting scene before the 1988 election and initially forgotten the words of this political operative I'd talked with. To be honest, I'd blown-off this fellow's words, figuring he was stretching things out beyond the truth. Not until 1992 did I recall his words about Bush and Clinton and then I came to realize he might have been telling the truth. By 1996, I'd become convinced he knew what he was talking about and Bush in 2000 confirmed it for me.

With that background in mind, I must say that I don't know whether the 2012 race is Obama's "to lose." I suspect it was but that he "lost" it with a poor effort in the first term. 2012 was supposed to be a cake-walk of fund raising for Obama. Instead, big money donors, particularly those on Wall Street who supported Obama with big money in 2008, have abandoned Obama. Many have turned to Romney. This suggests to me that Romney is the "chosen" one for 2012 in that it is "his to lose." Whether this is the case or not remains to be seen. I do not know and my only hunch is that the "BIG" money men are not funding Obama as they did in 2008.

So who's election is it to lose? I still suspect it is Obama's to lose. Why? Obama holds a "joker" in the deck of cards and the jokers are "wild" and play right into Obama's election strategy.



Obama's Strategy for Electoral Victory

It is quite obvious that the strategy of President Obama's campaign managers revolve around the following 2 points.

#1. "Class warfare" along with divide and conquer

#2. A Mideast War if necessary for Obama victory

It's really a no-brainer for the Obama team to run with #1. Obama's economic record is a disaster. He simply cannot  win by running on his record of economic achievments because, in reality, he has no economic achievments. Of course his team tries to point to certain statistics showing job growth but those statistics ring hollow with a majority of voters.

Obama's signature legislative achievement is healthcare aka "Obamacare" but more people oppose it than support it. Obamacare is but one more albatross around the president's electoral bid. This explains why President Obama's polling shows a neck and neck race at a time when  he should have a comfortable lead. The polls also point to a need for Obama to have a "wild card," joker in his hand. He has such a wild card which brings us to point number 2.

According to the rumor mill/grapevine in Washington, the Obama Team believes that an "October Surprise" consisting of a small military clash with Iran over Iran's nuclear facilities would swing enough votes to Obama for an electoral college victory. It would demonstrate Obama's Presidential strength, wisdom and patience. It would help him secure the Jewish vote, something he is missing, for the most part, at the moment. If he keeps it short and sweet with little retaliation by
Iran, his action will temper the anti-war crowd. Should Iranian retaliation cause sufficient pain and or embarrassment the gambit could backfire on him. What could Iran do to trigger a backfire? If Iran sank one or more US Navy warships, particularly an aircraft carrier, then the military gambit would backfire. The same holds true should the military action become lengthy and involved or widen out into a regional conflict.

The military gambit is quite a gamble but likely to be used should the Obama Team find itself trailing in the polls in October. My own Democrat sources tell me that there is no way that Obama will launch a military strike on Iran before the election, but how do they know that? The answer is, "they don't know." Given Team Obama's penchant to use whatever means necessary to win re-election, I think its safe to say that Obama would indeed order a small, military action to boost
his popularity and win over voters who are still sitting on the fence at election time.


What 4 More Years of Obama Would Bring:

One thing we do understand, in part from our own Democratic Party contacts are the expectations of his supporters. We're hearing that expectations for a second term involve an acceleration of radical change in the US government. We can expect further socialization of the U.S. government of a totalitarian nature. How would this happen? By taking more direct control in the lives of each American.

The Politics of Food & Health

We've already observed hints of greater control in the personal lives of Americans. Much of this has been spearheaded by the First Lady using the "Politics of Food" and the Politics of Health.

The politicization of diet and food consumption has been conspicuous. First it started with regulating soda pop in children at school. It has now shifted to adults. New York City (and other smaller cities) have proposed greater restrictions on soft drink sizing at restaurants. That is merely the opening shot in a program to totally regulate what individual Americans are allowed to consume. It also ties in with another element in the totalitarian scheme, namely, healthcare.

Total Control of American's Personal Life Thru Obamacare

The 2,000+ page legislation known euphemistically as "Obamacare" is designed to take control of many aspects of daily life for Americans. Regulating an individual's food consumption is but one aspect of trying to control health costs in Obamacare. Individuals will be forced to accept vaccinations and treatments whether they are wanted or not. Surgeries will be restricted and limited. There will be fewer doctors. Unofficial Euthanasia will be used.

Perhaps the biggest concern is the requirement that all Americans submit to being "chipped" with an RFID computer chip. This would likely be the forerunner to 666 - the "Mark of the Beast." With this, an individuals personal secrets will be known to the government. It won't be limited to merely health. The chip will also be an ID for use in other aspects of life as well as a means for conducting business and commerce. This chip process is slated by law to begin a phase in staring in the year 2014, although there is some concern that the system will be ready for distribution by that time.

There is still debate and argument over the specifications of such an RFID chip. Of course, whatever is decided, such a chip is not likely to be "the" 666 Mark per se because it will only affect Americans and not the world. It would be more likely to be used as a proto-type model for the future 666 chip.

*Control of Your Diet & Food Purchases

We've noted earlier in this article about the push of controlling food and beverages. Under Obamacare, the Obama Administration will have a covering excuse to push for more stringent controls and limitations over consumption. The Department of Agriculture is setting up new rules limiting and een outlawing family gardens under the guise of "food safety." The same applies to raising livestock. One will need a permit to raise cattle, pigs, chickens etc.

*Control of Your Communications Abilities

There are plans being developed to finally control internet access and editorial control of opinions and speech. It will be "sold" as a tool to fight terrorism and promote political "correctness."

*Control of Your Transportation/Movement

We understand that the second term of an Obama Administration will be to cut back on fossil fuel consumption by engaging in policies that will drive up the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel to exorbitant price levels. It will limit travel by individuals with automobiles. New regulations on airline and rail travel will be implemented to combat terrorism.

*Control of Your Living Location

The housing crisis is not going away any time soon. More people will lose their homes as credit problems deepen and the government borrows more of the money supply. This keeps banks behind the 8-ball and will trigger more defaults. Those losing their homes will find it necessary to look for government housing assistance. Don't be surprised to find proposals under a 2nd Obama term for "government work camps" where whole families will be housed to provide cheap labor for Big Business.

*Control of Your Minor Children

New regulations of schools will give the government even more control of America's school children. We can expect to see the school system become something of a secondary "gestapo" for political correctness. It won't be just the educational system using children as a means to control families. The Agriculture Department has already set up new regulations preventing minor -age children from working on their family farms.

*Control of Guns/Firearms

With the recent mass-shooting at a movie theater in Colorado, Team Obama will patiently wait until a second term to move on eradication of personal ownership of guns. There's some talk that the Obama Administration will use Executive Orders to conform to a new UN regulation outlawing gun ownership by individuals. It is all part of a UN push for gun control under the guise of eliminating terrorism and regulating weapons sales between nations.

I think we can expect Obama to wait on a second term to move forward with the abolition of guns. One interesting note on this issue. The ultra-conservative, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Scalia was interviewed over the weekend by FOX News. In that interview, the Justice hinted that some day soon, there would be laws that would outlaw gun possession with Supreme Court approval. This brings us to our final point about a second Obama term.

*Supreme Court Turns Leftist

If you thought the Supreme Court was a liberal leftist court, you've not seen anything yet. Look for one or two vacancies of conservative justices to either retire or die a natural death in office. Most are in advanced age. You can count on a replacement to be very leftist oriented and create a majority of liberal-leftists on the court.



Hooking into the New World Order


The movement for a one-world, global government is expecting to shift into high gear with the coming collapse of the European Union. This is something that will be engineered soon by world bankers utilizing the IMF as the vehicle for monetary change. It will start with a new, one-world electronic-money currency. Under that auspice, look for a new regulatory system to be born that becomes the core for a one-world, global government to which President Obama will sign onto. It will surrender American sovereignty.

Of course, all of the above is merely in the planning stages, as we understand it. If Obama is not re-elected it will be up to Romney to bring about such change and he will do so, but perhaps in different ways using different means to accomplish such change.

Overall Assessment:

For those of us who are Believers in Christ, the next four years appear to bleak ones no matter who wins in November. We can expect the next four years to be a time of testing and tribulation for the True Church in America. Even so, expect the "mega-churches" or the "purpose-driven" churches to continue on in sleep and apostasy giving the forces of the Antichrist more room to maneuver.
