2009 A Critical Turning Point

February has been an extremely active month for a variety of news developments and we’re barely half way through the month. January was also extremely active for news, especially with the Gaza War. It seems that the year 2009 is shaping up to be a very active year for prophetic news developments just as we’d suspected.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been getting the sense that this year of 2009 is a turning point year. I noted this in a previous commentary back at the first of December when I mentioned the idea that we were reaching a “turning point.” Since the first of the year, it seems that events have indeed begun to speed up.

To double check my own “gut” instincts, I compiled a list of various impending troubles in and around the world that A-O is monitoring. This list includes:

#1. The Israel versus Iran crisis. This includes the Iran nuclear weapons crisis, the threat of a Hezbollah attack, and Iran’s resupply efforts to Hamas.

#2. An Islamic Civil War – between Shiite and Sunni sects.
#3. Iran versus Saudi Arabia – Iran attempting to overthrow S.A. Gov’t
#4. Iran versus Egypt – Iran attempting to overthrow the Egyptian Gov’t.
#5. Afghanistan on the verge of collapse to the Taliban & Al Qaeda
#6. Pakistan on the verge of collapse to the Taliban & Al Qaeda
#7. Al Qaeda Terror advances in Arabian Peninsula and Africa
#8. Saudi King’s deteriorating health & Gov’t instability
#9. Turkey’s continuing moves towards radical Islam
#10.  Iraq’s Shiite vs Sunni conflict resumes in Civil War once US leaves

Then there’s the economic issues

#11. International monetary system facing breakdown
#12. International banking system Bankruptcy
#13. Deflation in most investment assets
#14. Inflation in food and health
#15. Economic shrinkage/Depression
#16. Rampant Unemployment
#17. Gov’t Debt Collapse – worthless bonds, bills & currency
#18. Civil unrest, riots, especially food and tax riots

Then there’s the Nature Issues

#19 Food shortages, and or worldwide food supplies shrinking.
#20. Drought in S. America, Australia, Asia, and parts of N. America
#21. New La Nina with wild weather patterns, more violent storms
#22. New Solar storm cycle emerging with more active Sun storms affecting planet Earth. 

One might also add the prospects for more earthquakes and volcano eruptions but that’s a very much unknown that doesn’t seem to show a year-to-year trend, so I didn’t include those items in the list. I might have also added the US-Russia tensions, but there are signals flying that this tension is about to resolve itself shortly as Obama will likely make some deals with Russia.

The above list includes the more major elements that face the human race in 2009. Of course, its not a complete list, but it’s a list of the more major elements that could or seem to point towards prophetic fulfillment developments.

There are items on that list which some A-O readers may not be aware of, such as the developing conflict between Iran and other Muslim nations and the fact that Islam is poised for its own “civil war.”

Other factors such as The Afghanistan War appear to be at a definite turning point as does the Pakistani battle with the Taliban. The fact that Pakistan has struck a bargain with the Taliban does not really help Pakistan. It does help the Taliban. It frees their resources to refocus on conquering Afghanistan and then turn back onto Pakistan and take over that nation, perhaps next year. We’ve been warning about all of this for some time now in the A-O Intelligence Digest editions.

In the A-O Insider Report and Intelligence Digest editions, we’ve also warned about the Islamic civil war potential and the clandestine war breaking out with Shiite Iran battling against Egypt and Saudi Arabia.  We’ve also warned Al Qaeda’s growing threat in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, along with the deteriorating Saudi regime and the Saudi King’s health. We’ve also monitored and reported on the growing trend in Turkey towards radical Islam and away from friendship with Israel and the West and of course, we’ve reported on the Iraqi situation and the coming future fight for control of Iraq once the US troops pull out.

Of course, at the top of the list, we’ve been very active in monitoring the Iranian nuclear weapons crisis and moves by the US and Israel to counter that threat.

If you’ve been a regular reader of The A-O Report and the A-O Insider Report and the A-O Intelligence Digest, you’ve been well-informed as to what is really going on out there.

So, the notion that 2009 may be a crucial or critical year in prophetic fulfillment will be of no surprise to most A-O Readers.

From what I’m picking up in the past three weeks, is a sense that we’re going to see some major crises emerge by mid year, both economically and geo-politically.

I’m picking up enough chatter from personal sources, including Washington and New York that by July, the US and the world may be facing a major economic crisis equal to that of last fall or worse. At the same time, we may see major fighting break out in the Middle East.

I’m hearing various rumors that Israel’s leaders are thinking June, July will be the zero hour for dealing with Iran’s nuclear program. I don’t know that anything will happen or not. These are but “rumors” and as such who knows their validity. Yet there are various indicators suggesting this summer will be a very critical moment in time on a variety of fronts perhaps.

What I do know is that with each passing month, we move closer towards the NWO’s ability to bring on a 6-6-6 financial system complete with RFID chip implants. I also know that the NWO crowd is anticipating that the year 2012 is the year for the conclusion to their efforts to establish a 1-world Government and a Messiah to lead the world. They expect such a gov’t by Decemeber 21, 2012, if not sooner. That means in May of this year, we’ll be just 3 ½ years away from December 21, 2012.

So what? Well we might be close to the Tribulation period if – IF – that December 21, 2012 date is of any consequence. Could that date be the halfway point of the Tribulation period? Could it be the end of the Tribulation period – if the Tribulation is only 3 ½ years and not 7 years?

According to some prophecy watchers, NASA has posted some lunar and solar eclipses for the years 2014 and 2015 that suggest these are the prophetic signs mentioned in Revelation. Should their observations and theoretical assumptions prove to be correct then we are perhaps very close to the start of a 7 year Tribulation period (in May) or still 3 years off from a 3 ½  year Tribulation period.

Of course, none of these subject points may have any actual bearing on prophetic fulfillments. We may yet be 10 or 20 years away from fulfillment, but at the moment, we seem to be on the cusp of something major developing in the wind.

I personally get the notion that events are building up to a “critical mass” for an explosion of events to unfold, quickly cascading one on top of the other. 2009 has the potential, it seems to be a year for such cascading events and not merely economic, but also related to terrorism and or war and or storms and climate, perhaps even earthquakes and volcano eruptions.

 

2009 – The A-O Report Hits Critical Ma$$

Now having looked at 2009 and the approaching events reaching critical mass, I’m looking at The Alpha-Omega Report website’s efforts to keep you informed.

 Frankly, I don’t think The A-O Report is going to be able to make it to the end of this year or even the end of this month. Financially, donations just can’t seem to remain sufficient to cover the monthly operating costs. The economy is really tanking fast and donations have fallen off dramatically again in February.

It’s always been a battle for the past couple of years, but this year, there’s a different feel in the air and I can’t quite describe it. Maybe it’s just my age or that I feel totally drained and or tired of wrestling with the financial shortfalls every month.

At the moment, it appears The Alpha-Omega Report will probably be forced to shut down perhaps at the end of the month or early March unless there is Divine Intervention, yet again. Your prayers are perhaps more important in this regard than ever before. Perhaps the Lord will provide yet another miraculous answer to prayer. Your prayers on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

No matter the case though, I’m at peace with whichever way the outcome develops. I feel like I’ve done what I can. I wish I could do more. I wish that I could still develop a full commentary on the Book of Revelation and produce a full Microsoft Audio-Visual Power Point presentation of “America, The Babylon” to compliment the introductory Power Point program now available. Yet it seems that time may have run out for such projects as well as other theological studies I’d like to have presented.
