May Alter A-O Coverage Approach

For those of you who read my recent comments on The A-O Insider Report section for Donors, you may remember that I expressed the likelihood that the rest of August would likely be a slow news cycle. May I take that expectation back?

My how things can change in just a few short days or even in a few short hours. Last week at this time, there was little in the way of news developments related to significant prophetic fulfillments. I had very little intelligence information to report for the weekly A-O Intelligence Digest. It was as if all the movers and shakers as well as pundits and analysts had gone on vacation. Well, maybe they had gone on vacation. Maybe they came back for the weekend. What I did know by last Saturday was merely some wild political rumors about US presidential politics, but that was about all.

Saturday night and Sunday however saw a sudden spike in developments and I began to scramble for insights and insider contacts for Monday morning to begin running down potential story leads. It wasn't until Tuesday that the information could be assimilated into a late-breaking A-O Intelligence Digest edition.

After publishing the Digest, news reports and intelligence wires cooled down until late Wednesday afternoon when new stories and rumors surfaced. 5 major articles were subsequently posted by late Wednesday evening and I expect more major developments to pop up in the next 24 to 36 hours. In fact, it could be a trend that develops.

We may be on the verge of some sort of super-active news cycle that defies the normal approach The Alpha-Omega Report has taken since last November in providing news coverage. Normally, if something major develops, like The Israeli-Lebanon Summer War of 2006 or Russia's invasion of Georgia - The A-O Report moves to YELLOW ALERT or RED ALERT - and news coverage structure is altered for that specific crisis. Well, I can see the possibility that within the next few days or weeks ahead, we may all be witnessing multiple crises developing.

Frankly, when planning this new website design, and even thereafter, I'd never given any thought as to how to provide coverage to multiple crises all occurring at once. After developments of the past two weeks, I've begun to consider the distinct possibility that in the next 90 days we may see possible, various multiple crises of major proportions needing coverage all at once. I'm not sure just how we'll structure things here for you, but The A-O Report will work to cover ever thing in as logical and easy-to-use a presentation as possible.

Now why am I telling you all of this?

Dangerous Times Ahead

It seems that we're headed for Dangerous Times Ahead. I've just posted an article on this assessment elsewhere on the website. LINK HERE.

I would encourage you to to read it and draw your own conclusions and be prepared for what may or may not come between now and the end of the year.

Meanwhile, The A-O Report is experiencing ongoing financial shortfalls in donor support. We narrowly avoided a shutdown about 10 days ago on a small surge of donor support that staved off a shutdown. I am concerned that without additional funding in the next 2 weeks - The A-O Report may go dark by Mid-September, right before I expect things to explode in the Middle East.

There are strong intelligence reports and analysts opinions that military conflict will break out with Iran by someone. Strong rumors persist of an impending US-EU Naval blockade. There are also ongoing rumors and signals that at least some Israeli leaders want to stage air strikes against Iran before November.

I don't know about you, but I think it would be a shame if The A-O Report was no longer online to cover these developments. Do you feel the same way?
