Now what follows below is a follow up to our Biblical Prophecy Perspectives on Babylon-America and perhaps should be considered as a Part 3. It is a follow up to the Part 2 exegesis of Jeremiah 51 as well as key passages of Revelation 17 and 18. It may come across as harsh or strident towards the churches and pastors in America, but I firmly believe most evangelical and fundamentally conservative churches in America remain fast asleep and oblivious to the rapidly developing prophetic events now unfolding in the Mideast and around the world. More over, the churches in America are oblivious to the fact that America is "Babylon the Great" of the end-times prophecies. Let American believers in Jesus Christ wake up to the realities around them including the wickedness of Babylon-America because the situation is now urgent, even at a crisis point. There seems to be very little time left and whatever amount of time is left, needs to be spent in urgent spiritual preparation.
I should add that the above remarks are not intended for those pastors who have regularly visited our website and are keenly interested in teaching and explaining Biblical Prophecy to their congregations. Also, pastors who are now discovering this website but have also been diligent in teaching eschatology are not those whom the above words are directed towards.

In Part 2 of our series concerning Babylon-America, Iran and North Korea we looked in general at a key prophetic passage dealing with a future Babylon which this author asserts is America. What follows is an attempt to return to our study and cover some loose ends which need to be examined further and given extra stress plus how believers should respond to this information in their daily lives. We start with answering the question: How will these Babylon prophecies unfold?
How Will These Prophecies Unfold?
It seems very likely to this researcher and author that the "fanners" or "winnowers" as described in Jeremiah 51: 1-2 are in fact "terrorists" sponsored by Iran.
They may be of Iranian heritage or simply members of various Islamic terror groups funded and or directed by Iran. I seriously doubt the fanners/winnowers will be North Koreans. I also have strong doubts that the "Destroying Wind" as mentioned in verse 1 is a North Korean (or Iranian) EMP blast in the skies over Babylon-America. I also do not think the term refers to nuclear bombs on Babylon-America. However, I could be wrong on that count, but I doubt it.
Instead, I am more inclined to think the "destroying wind" is related to the spread of biological weapons or chemical weapons produced by either Iran or Syria and smuggled into America and then distributed by light planes flying over American cities. Do not forget that the Babylon prophecies speak of "plagues" upon Babylon. See as follows:
Jeremiah 51: 13
"Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues."
Revelation 18: 4
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
"Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong [is] the Lord God who judgeth her."
Please note especially, Revelation 18:4 indicates a "calling shout" for God's people to "Come UP and OUT" of Babylon. The Greek grammar has triple usage of a key action verb "ek" and "exelthate."
The dual usage of this word and its variant is in "imperative mood" meaning it is an absolute command for obedience. Refusal is not an option. The triple usage also indicates the one(s) hearing are to come out of and towards the speaker. We see a similarity (though not identical) in the Gospel of John, chapter 11:43 at the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Jesus issues the command to Lazarus to come out and towards Him (Jesus). The same principle applies in Revelation 18:4 with the triple use of "Ek" and its derivative form. The hearer is told to come towards the speaker. Where is the speaker? The first part of the verse tells us the voice if from out of heaven, i.e. in the skies.
Also, if the speaker meant for the hearer to simply leave Babylon and exit for another location on earth, the appropriate word to be used would have been the preposition "en" which is very similar to "ek" in many respects but with shades of difference.
So, Revelation 18:4 is a voice out of heaven giving a command to believers to "Come UP and out - moving towards the speaker who is located in heaven (skies). Revelation 18: 4 is the exact command as Paul describes in I Thessalonians 4: 16.
I Thessalonians 4:16-17
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
"Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
Please note in verse 16, the English word "shout" does not convey the full meaning of the original Greek term. The Greek word used is "Keleusmati" (Strong's #2752) and it means a shout of command, a shouted command. What is Revelation 18:4? It is a shout of command. Paul's statement does not tell us the contents of the shout, but Revelation 18:4 does tell us the contents of the shout.
Therefore, for the reasons stated above, I am quite confident that Revelation 18:4 is the Rapture of the Church and it precedes the "double-judgment" upon Babylon America. We know this because after verse 4 we find God's decree of judgment announced in Revelation 18:6 and it states the judgment is to be "doubled." When we carefully examine the description of the judgment on Babylon we find two different elements of judgment. The first is a fire judgment of one-hour duration. It is the same one-hour time frame as we find in Revelation 17:12-14 where the 10 horns meet with the beast for one hour and vote their power/authority to the beast. It is during this one hour period of meeting that Babylon is destroyed by fire.
This means the fire judgment is simultaneous to the Antichrist coming into power at the start of the Tribulation period. So Babylon's destruction triggers the rise to power of the Antichrist.
Yet in Revelation 16: 17-21 we see Babylon mentioned as almost an afterthought of being judged in the very last bowl judgment prior to the Second Coming of Christ. This judgment is described as a super-mega earthquake in which all the islands of oceans disappear and all the mountains are flattened around the world. Some earthquake. It is in this moment that Babylon is remembered - double judgment.
Revelation 18:21 describes this event for Babylon as an angel missiles a large object to into the ocean offshore of Babylon. No more will Babylon be found.
Revelation 18:21
"And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast [it] into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."
Jeremiah expands on this in chapter 51 and verses 42, 55, 64.
"The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof."
"Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:"
"And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far [are] the words of Jeremiah."
So, in conclusion, I really think that the Lord will Rapture the Church before Babylon's fire judgment. Revelation 18:4 - the Rapture verse - shout of command - precedes God's announcement decreeing Babylon's double judgment to come.
Yet, verse 4 also states "that ye receive not of her plagues." This strongly suggests to me the possibility that the Church in America will not be affected by the events (plagues) of Jeremiah 51: 1-2 if indeed those are describing plague activities but I cannot be certain of that. Jeremiah does not get quite that explicit in those 2 verses, only later in verse 13, which may or may not be related to verse 1 and 2.
Even so, with the lack of clarity in the passage, we, as believers should be prepared for rough times and tribulation ahead just before His "snatching away" (harpadzo) of the Church.
This means church pastors must get their congregations spiritually prepared for the possibility, if not likelihood, of severe testing.

When Will These Prophecies Unfold?
It is very difficult to ascertain the timing of events in verse 2 of Jeremiah 51. The question is whether or not they transpire before the "one-hour" fire judgment described in not only Jeremiah but also in Revelation 17:16 and throughout Revelation chapter 18.
While its possible for these first two verses to occur at the same time as the fire judgment, there seems to be a hint that such activity precedes the fire judgment by some unmeasured length of time. It could be a day, a few days, a week, a few weeks or months, possibly even a year or more, although I tend to think the period will be much shorter than a year, (perhaps just a few days or weeks) but its all hypothesis in regards to length of time and in relation to fire judgment itself.
What does seem certain is that "strangers" in Babylon will cause terror, chaos and enough panic to cause many citizens to flee the nation, primarily heading perhaps for Canada or Mexico as escape by air or boat may be limited. Such an exodus will not likely start overnight. It may take Americans days or weeks to realize the need for an exodus. What should genuine believers in Jesus Christ do? Should we flee, also? Should we wait for Divine intervention and rescue?
I think the answer will rest with a leading of the Holy Spirit within each of us. We need to be spiritually mature and growing in grace right now in preparation for what will ensue, whenever that takes place, knowing that it is likely the American church will face some sort of Pre-tribulation, tribulation prior to the Rapture. The Church is not called to face God's Great Divine Wrath dispensed during the Tribulation, the Church, particularly in Babylon-America seems likely to undergo severe "testing" right before His "snatching away" globally of genuine believers in Jesus Christ.
Now is the time to build up one's faith for the potential time of severe testing that lies ahead. Everyone reading this needs to have a total and complete understanding of the doctrine of Grace and and rock-solid understanding of Faith - Saving Faith - i.e. "Belief."
Now, having stated all of this, I do stress that my interpretation of Jeremiah 51: 1-2 and its timing may not be inflicted upon Babylon-America until - AFTER the Rapture. In other words, it is entirely possibly that our Lord and Savour may yet have mercy upon American Christians caught up in the carnality of "purpose-driven" and "psycho-babble" Christianity within America's churches of today.
Indeed, what passes for "worship" services in America's Churches may in fact be abominable before the Lord because it dips into ritualism and legalism. It wouldn't be the first time. Isaiah tells us God was thoroughly sickened by Israel's perfect ceremonial ritualism and religiousness. Despite this carnality in American churches, our Lord may still yet "snatch" all believers away before the chaos of Jeremiah 51:1-2 unfolds or sometime before the fire judgment itself.
I simply cannot pinpoint the time-lines one way or another. All I can do is encourage every believer, every Church pastor (particularly in America) to be ready for anything. BE SPIRITUALLY PREPARED for all possibilities and BE ON WATCH, not asleep.
