 Here's a story that would be ideal for a Twilight Zone episode or Ripley's Believe It or Not.

 The Republican Party's apparent nominee for President this year, Senator John McCain announced on Friday, March 7, that he repudiates any views of Televangelist John Hagee, most notably Hagee's vociferous attacks on the Roman Catholic Church.

 That McCain would do so, should come as a no surprise. Politically, no candidate for any office would stand much of a chance for election if they publicly agreed with Hagee's errant claims against the Roman Catholic Church. McCain's candidacy for president would instantly go up in flames. Yet, oddly enough, McCain is right to repudiate Hagee.

 John Hagee is a heretic. It's that plain and simple. Hagee recently came out with the blasphemous doctrine that claims Jews do not need the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ for salvation. They can earn salvation by "works."  According to Paul's writings in Romans and Galatians, plus Ephesians 2:8-9, the gospel Hagee proclaims for the Jews is actually "a false gospel." Hagee, therefore, teaches a different Gospel and not “The Gospel,” but rather, according to Paul’s comments in Galatians, a damnable doctrine that gains Hagee eternal damnation. (See Galatians 1:6-9), Hagee has yet to recant such views, despite an outcry from the American Evangelical Community. Hagee seems to just keep going his own way.

 However, in regards to the issue of the Roman Catholic Church, Hagee has continually equated the RCC to being the Great Whore of Babylon - i.e. Revelation 17:5. Yes, Hagee is absolutely, postively proclaiming the notion that the Catholic Church is "The MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS."

 Such views have been roundly laughed at by the secular press and at the same time, have drawn the ire of the Catholic Church, although some RCC theologians of the recent past - notably the late Father Malachi Martin - shared similar conclusions with Hagee.

 The facts are however, that Hagee's citation of the Babylon prophecies of Revelation 17 and 18 and application of those passages to the RCC are thoroughly erroneous.

 

 In my two-volume work - "America, The Babylon" - I've proven beyond any reasonable doubt that Revelation 17 references to a "Great Whore" and MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS is in fact references to the chief goddess of Babylon, Ishtar, who held the title as the MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS as well as the title of "Goddess of Liberty/Freedom."

 In Volume 2 of "America, The Babylon" I take an entire chapter to show textually from the original Greek, that the RCC nor any other church could be the Harlot of Babylon or the Mother of the Harlots. I even prove that Revelation 17:9 is NOT a reference to the 7 hills of Rome. I prove this exegetically from the original Greek text and Greek-English dictionaries. The term in verse 9 is erroneously translated as "hills" in modern-day Bibles. It should be translated as continents. I explain categorically why, based in part on dictionary definitions and also by usage from the Ishtar religio's 'mystery' doctrines.

 Furthermore, in my new Microsoft PowerPoint Audio-Visual Presentation "Visual Evidences For America, The Babylon" - I again present overwhelming textual and empirical proof that Ishtar is what the prophetic passages are referencing.

 The sad fact is that once again, a Televangelist makes a laughingstock out of Christianity by being so outrageously outspoken to the point of being a complete and total fool.

 Now, don't get me wrong here. I do not think the Roman Catholic Church is doctrinally sound. I do not. The Roman Catholic Church is full of doctrinal error and blasphemy in its own right - but - its not the Great Whore and its not the Mother of the Harlots any more than any other Protestant denomination.

 The fact is - the Great Whore is a fallen angel who in the Babylon prophecies becomes the protecting angel guiding an end-time super-power nation which collapses under divine judgment and is succeeded in power by the ascent to power of the Antichrist.

 The Harlot is represented today in the world as "The Goddess of Liberty/Freedom" a.k.a. - The Statue of Liberty and the statue of the Goddess of Freedom that stands atop the US Capitol Dome which is on top of her chief temple - the US Capitol Building itself - according to the name given it by America's Founding Fathers. Yes, originally, the Founding Fathers called the US Capitol Building - The Temple of the Goddess of Liberty. What's more, A statue of the Roman god of war Mars stands at the building's entrance. The Roman god, Mars was borrowed by the Romans from Babylon. The Babylonians name for this god was Mardok/Marduk/Merodach/Bel and or Baal - depending on which language dialect you choose to use.

 Furthermore, a Masonic researcher/historian and author, David Ovason has written a startling book entitled: "The Secret Architecture of our Nation's Capital." Its more than 500 pages in length with hundreds of footnotes documenting his eventual conclusion that Washington, D.C. is in reality an open-air temple to Ishtar - aka Inanna, Isis, Aphrodite, Astarte, Libertas, The Perpetual Virgin (not to be confused with Mother Mary).

The presentation  is more than an hour in length and dramatically underscores the claims I just cited including archaeological artifacts of the chief Babylonian goddess Ishtar much of which shows the similarities with today's images of her as The Goddess of Liberty and America’s symbol of freedom.
