US versus Iran on Nukes
Probably the most significant prophetic news development of 2007 was the switch in policy by President Bush regarding Iran’s nuclear weapons program. For the first eleven months of the year, the White House railed against Iran’s secret nuclear weapons program, but on December 3, 2007 the National Intelligence Estimate on Iran was presented to the President. From what A-O sources have indicated, it seems that the NIE report was ordered by the President two weeks earlier to conform its findings to the notion that Iran’s nuclear weapons program was no longer in existence. Why?
It seems that for much of the year, the White House had been working covertly with Saudi Arabia as a mediator in secret negotiations with Iran to work out some sort of compromise. Why? President Bush is determined to leave office with a legacy as a peace-maker and victor in the War on Terror. In order to do so, the Iraqi insurgency would have to end and the Iranians were the main reason why the insurgency was continuing. A deal with Iran would remove the US from the Iraqi quagmire.
The Pentagon had earlier in the year, determined that any military action against Iran would produce unacceptable consequences not only in terms of military losses, but also create economic and diplomatic nightmares for not only the U.S. but the world, according to insider sources. By reaching a compromise with Iran, the White House felt that such a move would also pave the way for a peaceful solution between Israel and her neighbors, or at least the appearance of at least a temporary peaceful solution. In achieving these results and a resolution in Afghanistan combined with a new democratic government in Pakistan, President Bush would leave office with a highly positive legacy.

Israel Betrayed
For that end, Israel was prevented from launching a nuclear strike against Iran back at the beginning of January, 2007. The Israeli strike attempt was reportedly turned back by US fighter jets in the skies over Iraq. The secret event received no media publicity and only one independent journalist reported on the story. A similar event occurred on September 6, 2007 when Israel, aided by US support, launched an air operation and special-forces raid against a Syrian nuclear facility. This time the event was leaked to the media and was partially made public, but very little is known about what really transpired.
The Rise of the King of the South?
Within these developments, we note the rise to prominence of Saudi Arabia. Not only did the Saudis work as mediators between the US and Iran but the Saudi King took bold steps to transform his nation’s military into a top regional power with the capability to defend itself against any regional aggressor, including Iran and Israel. The King ordered a massive quantity of tanks, helicopters and other military equipment from Russia. The king also ordered dozens of the newest jet fighters from Europe and is still negotiating with the US for more aircraft purchases.
Saudi Arabia also has reached an accommodation with Iran on other fronts including issues involving Iraq, terrorism and on the theological differences between Iran’s Shia sect and the Saudi’s Sunni sect.
In addiction, insider sources report that the Iranians and the Saudis have agreed to work together to produce nuclear weapons and to share that technology with other Islamic nations in the future.
The deal actually would involve taking the program up to the point of assembling a nuclear bomb but halting at the final assembly point. Both nations would be able to quickly put the final assembly together in case either nation were threatened by outsider nations such as Israel and the United States.
Essentially, we have a Saudi nation that appears to be rising to such a power status that it might well be the nation that Daniel refers to as the nation of the King of the South.
While all of this transpired, the United States was working diligently behind the scenes to make accommodations on behalf of Israel in a Mideast Peace Process that is decidedly not in the best security interests of Israel. In other words, the US is quietly abandoning Israel and leaving Israel vulnerable to destruction by her neighbors in a peace process that will strip much of Israel’s ability to defend itself from a ground invasion and insurgent takeover.
Pakistan On The Brink
However, as December rolled along, the Iranians began to balk on their promises. As this was transpiring, Al Qaeda was preparing to upset the delicate status quo in Pakistan. The assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto now threatens to tear the nation apart. Bhutto herself warned confidants and the White House that within 2 to 4 years a rejuvenated Al Qaeda and Taliban coalition would overthrow the government and take control over much of the nation and the nation itself would be broken up into smaller regional nation-states.
With Bhutto’s death, such notions of a radical Islamic takeover of Pakistan, looms as more than just a hypothetical possibility, but rather a genuine threat. By the end of the year, experts warily watched to see what would develop in the Pakistani crisis as the New Year approached. The dissolution of the Pakistani government of Musharraf and the disintegration of Pakistan, would provide a fertile breeding ground for spawning a future world war or perhaps, the Magog war.
International Banking Crisis Brews
If all of these geo-political factors weren’t frightening enough, the international banking system is teetered on the edge of collapse, thanks in part to a real estate bubble and a home mortgage crisis that is worldwide in scope. Many A-O readers may be thinking that the problem is just in America, but this is not true. Real estate problems and home mortgage problems are equally acute across much of Europe. Asia is also experiencing its own banking difficulties. South America and African nations have never been very stable to begin with so, the worldwide banking system crisis that began back in August continues with promises of greater problems in 2008.
Weather
On the weather front, 2007 was a year of all-time record heat and wild storms. Tornadoes spawned in the most unusual places including New York City as well as in Europe, especially around London, England. A number of non-tropical storms produced major hurricane-force straight winds during the year and in the fall of 2007 spawned some spectacular wild fires across the United States. Vast sections of the U.S. experienced drought conditions as did Australia and part of Europe.
Food Crops
Grain crops were reduced and the world’s grain supplies are at their lowest inventory levels in modern history. Another bad year of harvests could result in severe food shortages in some portions of the world and trigger massive price increases for foods everywhere.
Temple Restoration
Behind the scenes in Israel, Torah-observant Jews longing for the restoration of Temple worship continued to prepare for the day when a new Temple would be built. New garments for the priests have been finished and a crown for the Messiah has been prepared.

6-6-6 News
On the technology front, the RFID computer chip industry continues to develop smaller, faster, more powerful chips that can be inserted into the hand or forehead. New production capabilities are being readied for mass production of such identification chips.
As we understand it, within the next year or two, the industry would be in a position to have mass-produced enough of such chips to implant everyone in the world. Thus the prophecies of Revelation 13 are on the verge of becoming a potential reality before the year 2012, which according to various NWO insider sources is the target year for instituting the New World Order and a global government.
There have been quiet efforts behind the scenes to establish a North American Union and or a Western Hemisphere union of both North and South America. Africa has now developed its framework for a North American Union. Only Asia remains without total “union” movements.
