Finally, The Alpha-Omega Report now features a special private section for Donors to The Alpha-Omega Report website.

Why A Private A-O Website?

Long-time regular readers of The Alpha-Omega Report will know that my efforts to provide a solid, biblically-based Prophecy News and Studies website has been ongoing since 1998 when my first book, “America, The Babylon” was published. That was nearly 10 years ago. Until last year, The Alpha-Omega Report was funded solely by myself at great personal cost but I was glad to do so. Last year however, my own personal financial situation changed and I no longer had the excess funds to keep A-O alive and online.

In the past year, A-O remained alive on the basis of donations on an ad-hoc basis. That approach didn’t work out too well because only a few individuals helped out and it became something of a burden for a few for the benefit of many.

Frankly, the act of asking for donations created something of a backlash among some readers who think everything on the internet should be for free. In principle, a great idea and in the early years, much of the internet has been free. Not so these days.

I pay A LOT of money these days for various subscription services that keeps the news flowing on A-O. That’s only the tip of the iceberg for costs to keep this website running. If I declined to pay for these subscriptions and or services, A-O simply wouldn’t exist.

Oh, I might have some little private website posting nothing but some occaisional study notes, but only a few people would be able to access it because it would be on a small web-hosting service that couldn’t handle heavy amounts of traffic and it would be “down” more than it would be up if many people tried to view it as with the numbers of visitors to A-O today. In fact, we’re on pace to have a record month or near record month for the number of visits to the website. Visitors come from all around the world. Last I checked a few months ago, A-O averaged visitors from more than 120 nations. It all costs money to do this – more than I can afford to provide, hence the need for donations that won’t be a big burden on a few.

Last Ditch Effort

For that reason, myself and a few A-O readers acting as advisors put together a final, last ditch idea to keep the website financially solvent, particularly through these increasingly turbulent times. This new approach is a last ditch effort to keep A-O going. If this fails, I will have no recourse but to close down the website.

In order to keep A-O alive and open to the public, I have opened up a special private section – a different website within the A-O address. It’s even in a different software program. It is being called “The A-O Report – Insider” or “The A-O Insider Report.” It will feature information and articles you won’t find on the regular A-O website, including more “Intelligence” and analysis information plus other feature articles.

For the General Public

The public A-O website will remain afloat and some new articles will be posted. There will likely be changes coming soon though to the public pages including a change in “Breaking News” with a totally different approach featuring a variety of news feeds. This should be developed next month.

The whole idea is to keep The Alpha-Omega Report public, yet still provide some special benefits to those who help keep the public website alive and online. For that reason, donors will have access to materials not available to the general public.

I think this will be a blockbuster article to help you understand what is at stake should the US attempt to annihilate Iran with nuclear weapons against Iran's nuclear facilities. This is just an example of the kinds of materials you can expect to find in the private website pages just for donors in "The Alpha-Omega Insider Report."

Basic Access is Inexpensive

We've tried to keep this affordable for everyone or almost everyone. If you donate at least $5.00 or preferably $7.00 MONTHLY you will have access to the private web pages – The A-O Insider Report – PLUS you’ll also have access to the new e-mail newsletter – “The A-O Intelligence Digest” which publishes when we have significant intelligence information to pass along, could be several times in a week or maybe sometimes go two weeks or so with nothing. It all depends on what we’re picking up on. If you can afford $5.00 but not $7.00 that's okay, you'll still get access to both. If you can afford at least $7.00 a month that would be more helpful yet. It's really all based upon the numbers.

If we should get hundreds of readers to donate, hopefully we can lower the thresh holds to perhaps a dollar a month but I suspect we'll be doing good to get 50 to 100 people contributing every month and the KEY IS EVERY MONTH not just the first month or two.

Keep in mind, it will take a couple of months of a 'shakedown' to get things really smoothed out and functioning as I envision with substantially more news and study articles for both the public and private sites plus the 2 newsletters and audio features and chat room discussions.

Advanced Access:

Donations of $15.00 or more every month will have access to the audio news and commentary reports. I will tell you that I used to be a radio news anchor and reporter in my younger years, so it will be done in a professional manner. Audio news will be available after August 1st when the website is allowed extra bandwidth allotment.

If I can get the right software and equipment to hook up for phone interviews, I’ll also include interviews with various prophecy watchers and analysts.

Also, for those who donate $15.00 or more every month I hope to have that chat room feature available if this can be done practicably. This will give A-O readers and myself and chance to interact to discuss “news developments” but NOT to debate various prophetic theories. The only potential problem that I wonder about is – how many can we safely get into a chat room to chat without crashing the system? I say that because if we get too many, we may have to arrange various chats at different times particularly for folks around the globe

To Help Keep A-O going for youself and for those who are unable to help.

All of this is contingent upon enough A-O readers donating enough money to cover the operating costs for A-O. If there are not enough funds from donations, A-O could be forced offline for good in a matter of days or weeks. At the moment, there seems to be enough readers interested in donating to keep A-O’s bills paid, yet so far, only a handful of folks have begun to donate. Those who have done so, now have access to the A-O Insider Report as of late Tuesday evening, July 24.

Anyone who donates at least $5.00 will have a month’s worth of access to the private pages. If possible $7.00 would be better to help with the “A-O Intelligence Digest” – but if you can’t afford but $5.00 a month, you’ll still have access to both the Insider Report pages and the Intelligence Digest newsletter.

Private Features Are My Way of Saying Thank You

This privatization is my way of saying thank you to donors, while still keeping the public website operating.

Those who can afford to donate more, like $15.00 or more every month will have the added audio features and hopefully the chat room, if that proves to be practicable.

The key to the success of this plan to save A-O is IF enough readers are participating with enough donations EVERY MONTH. This means we can not just have everyone or most everyone donating once or twice.

A-O is geared to provide special coverage at critical times, such as when war breaks out in the Middle East. In 2003 with the US invasion of Iraq and again in 2006 with the Lebanon war, A-O provided unique coverage like no other website, I know of. The coverage provides a unique perspective from a Biblical Prophecy standpoint. This is includes not just news but analysis from a variety of vantage points including prophetic aspects.

With the today’s tensions in the Middle East, A-O hopes to be able to provide even better service and coverage than in with the previous wars to keep you better informed and appraised of what’s going on and perhaps a better understanding of what to prepare for next.

You do NOT need to be a member of PayPal to use PayPal for donating to A-O. Although, if you are a member, you can also choose to use your Paypal funds to donate directly to A-O.

After you''ve sent your contribution through Paypal, the email address that you provide will be used to send you special instructions for a login to the new private webpages.

This follow up email will include your username and password and a link to the webpages. This may take anywhere from a few hours to as much as 48 hours because it all has to be done "manually" - the costs to automate this process simply was not affordable.

#2. Payments by US Mail. – only for US residents.

If you wish to send a donation by personal check or money order you may do so. There is no time delay for personal checks. In other words, I won’t hold up your access to the donor priviledges while waiting for a check to clear, so feel free to use your personal checking account.
