Babylon-America's Judgment Detailed

In part one of this article series, I raised the distinct possibility that the Syrian civil war and the in-fighting between the Islamic sects, "Sunni" and "Shiite" might well be the trigger that brings on two or even a third Biblical prophecy - depending on how one wishes to count.

Things are dramatically shaping up in the Mideast wherein the Ezekiel Gog-Magog prophecies (of chapters 38, 39) are taking form. This is particularly true with the Gog-Magog alliance. All the nations or tribes mentioned then are now taking form as nations joining together in alliance against Israel and to a lesser extent America and Western nations.

At the same time that the Ezekiel prophecy seems to be taking shape and form, that very same situation seems to be setting up for a slice of the Babylon-the-Great judgment aka "Babylon-America." By this I mean the first two verses of Jeremiah chapter 51, which speaks of a "Destroying Wind" and "Fanners" or "Winnowers" in Babylon which "fan" or "winnow" the land. That particular term seems to be describing foreigners temporarily traveling or living in the land who have evil or violent plans and then act upon them. This would seem to be describing modern-day terrorists who are often described as sleeper-cell terrorists.

These fanners/winnowers would be a "pre-judgment" action taken before the first actual judgment upon Babylon-America, which is a "Fire" judgment that lasts for one hour of one day. It is inflicted supernaturally upon Babylon by God's direct hand utilizing his angelic forces who are characterized as being "sinless" - "righteous" and coming directly from the throne of God. Most English translations of Jeremiah 50/51 would lead a reader to think that enemies from Babylon's north would destroy Babylon - as well as Iran (the Medes). The deeper Hebrew analysis indicates that such passages are badly mistranslated and badly misunderstood by the translators.

Now the third possible prophecy for fulfillment is Armageddon, itself, perhaps. The question is raised that perhaps the Gog-Magog war is long enough that it is potentially transformed into Armageddon. I have personal doubts about this being valid, but some raise the idea with plausibility.

With all of this in mind, let us now consider how things are shaping up for the possibility of the current situation emerging into the Gog-Magog war.

Prelude 1 Syrian Civil War Starts

A. Rebels advance to near victory

B. Iran intervenes with Russian support

1. IRGC Advisors for WMD/Chem support

2. massive supplies and aid by air and sea

3. Hezbollah proxy fighters assist

4. 4,000 IRGC troops arrive

5. Iranian Basij militia 5,000 to 10,000 arrive

C. Arabs/West Attempt Intervention

1. supply rebels with heavier weapons, anti-tank rpgs

2. manpad anti-air missiles

3. WMD defense training in Jordan

SPRING 2013

D. Turkey Suspends Cooperation with West, begins cozying up to Russia after civil riots suggest USA/Israel behind coup attempt.

PRELUDE 2.  Syrian Civil War

A. Assad forces turn tide on rebels, cuts off supply and sets up for an ultimate victory.

B. Uses chemical weapons

C. Russia evacuates civilians & naval base at Tartus.

D. Russian 16 warship naval fleet shields Syria from NATO

E. Russia supplies secret, high-tech weaponry to Syria

F. Gog Alliance Begins troop build up on Golan Heights

G. Suicide commando squads on Golan sector

H. Iran racing to ship hundreds of heavy battle tanks and heavy artillery to Syria to meet up with 50,000 Iranian Guards to be flown in separately.

I.  Hezbollah also to get tanks, S-300 Anti-air defenses and WMDs.

Summer/Fall of 2013

I. War Starts - "Provocation Phase"

A. Low-level intensity, cat-n-mouse border incidents in Golan Heights and along the Lebanon-Israeli border. Probing,testing IDF defenses.

B. Occasional rocket fire into northern Israel

C. Hezbollah commando units run small terror attacks into small Israeli villages along the northern border.

D. Israel initially declines any response and or mounts limited and restrained response.

NOTE 1:  Low-intensity border skirmishes continue until Israel is provoked to over-respond, which then prompts an excuse by the Muslims to escalate their response. A REDLINE provocation might be a chemical or WMD attack against Israel.

NOTE 2:  Build Up: Iran ships heavy weapons via sea to Syria including heavy battle tanks, artillery, ballistic missiles, armored personnel carriers, all for IRGC troops which will be flown in by air transport after all the heavy equipment has arrived. Current intelligence assessments expect somewhere between 25,000 to 50,000 IRGC troops will be sent plus another 25,000 to 50,000 regular Iranian Army troops. This would put Iranian forces at somewhere between a minimum of 25,000 to perhaps 100,000 troops in Syria with as many as 2,000 battle tanks. Unknown time frame to complete heavy weapons transfers. Could be weeks or months. Until then just a low-intensity provocation and probing phase.

The provocation phase will be drawn out until Iranian leaders are satisfied on 3 points:

#1. Enough Iranian troops are "in place" and ready

#2. Sleeper-cells in USA and Europe are ready for activation

#3. Russia's President Putin has been sufficiently manipulated to either:

a. join or lead an attack/invasion on Israel

b. to screen-out/shield against any USA interference in invasion

Once these above points are met, the Iranians can be expected to take things to the next level - an actual "hot" - shooting war.

Initial Order of Battle for Gog-Magog Forces

Syria: 25,000 to 50,000 Troops

Hezbollah: 60,000 w/ reserves includes tanks

Iran: 25,000 to 100,000 IRGC, Basijj and Reg Army

Russia: On standby with 10,000 special forces division

Other nations will add forces as things get going.

II WAR SHIFTS to a "Trigger Incident" Phase

A trigger incident provokes Israel to a major response point. It may well be a WMD-type of event with  either Hezbollah commandos or a ballistic missile threat or attack by Syria using WMDs. In such an event, we should expect the Israeli response to likely be a "Nuclear Strike" on Damascus!

Such an event triggers the start of a full-blown, shooting war.

III War Goes Full-Blown (After Israel Nukes Damascus)

A. The Magog Alliance Response to Israel, Small Tactical Nukes on:

1. Haifa

2. Tel Aviv

3. Eilat (in the south)

B. Conventional ballistic missile strikes all across rural Israel

C. No invasion from the north, yet.

IV. Iran Attacks Inside USA & Europe with Terror Units

Jeremiah 51:1,2 "Fanners/Winnowers" prophecy

A. Probably starts with bio-warfare weapons dispersed by small

airplanes and by terror squads in large public crowds such as

sporting events. Also spread via water supplies.

B. Terror-squad riflemen make sniper attacks

1. in cities

2. along rural areas of interstate highways

C. Suicide bombers

1. gov't (Federal, State, Local) buildings

2. utilities (water, gas, electric)

3. transportation centers

4. target trucks, trains, airports

5. "manpad" ground to air missiles shoot down airliners

6. "manpads" used against buildings, vehicles, tanks

7. Churches targeted for attacks

8. Sporting events

D. Situation quickly results in imposing Martial Law in USA. Similar effects likely across Europe, and perhaps elsewhere too.

E. Sets the stage for Babylon-America's Super-natural Fire Judgment by God's angelic forces, for a one-hour Sodom/Gomorrah type of fire judgment. May involve incoming space rocks or major geological eruptions.

F. No Scriptural time frame given for the length of Iranian terror war inside USA before God's super-natural judgment strikes America.

V.  The Rapture of the Church - Global

A. The Lord returns to rapture the Church just before the Father decrees the first of the double- judgments (fire) on Babylon-America. We see this in Revelation 18:4-6. Verse 4 is the "Shout of Command" that Paul writes about to the Thessalonians in his first epistle, chapter 4, where he states a "shout of command" is given. Revelation 18:4 is an "imperative mood of command" verse. A special double use of the Greek word "Come Up" grammatically means the listener is to move directly to/towards the speaker. In this case the speaker giving the command is in the heavens. If this isn't describing the Rapture, I don't know what is. After this event we have no clear time frame as to how soon the first, fire judgment hits but probably within hours or a few days.

VI. Supernatural Fire Judgment Hits America 1 hour/1day

A. As Babylon-America burns, a 1 hour meeting occurs between

10 key national leaders or ambassadors of 10 key nations. They vote to elect a man (of military ability) to lead them as the war continues in the Mideast. This military leader will turn out to be a political-general and become "The Anti-Christ."

B. The Magog forces see Babylon-America destroyed and now take it as a sign to move on Israel from the North. The Muslims believe Babylon-America's demise is a sign from Allah to continue against Israel. As they make preparations and move southward along Mount Hermon - Supernatural events unfold (by God's hand) and the Gog-Magog invasion forces along the Bekaa Valley around Mount Hermon are destroyed. Even so, Israel is a smoking ruin itself. So too are the homelands of the would-be invaders.

C. Yet the war is not over. Remnants of the Gog-Magog alliance will reform and threaten Israel during the Tribulation but the Antichrist will hold them back until the end of the Tribulation when the entire world finally demands an end to Israel and all armies of the world converge on Israel - which becomes Armageddon. One might say that the Gog-Magog War mutates into being the Armageddon War also which is interrupted by the Second Coming of Christ who with the brightness of His Coming destroys all who oppose His return including all the armies surrounding Israel and the Antichrist.

D. As Christ and the Church and angelic armies approach earth, one final "bowl" judgment is issued as we see in Revelation 16:17-21. It is one final super-mega-earthquake such as never seen in earth's history. It flattens all the mountain ranges and sinks all the islands in the seas and at the same time, causes Babylon-America to sink below the ocean waves never to rise again.

And there you have it in a nutshell. Many details are left out, but this is merely an outline overview hypothesis of how things may well develop in the broader sense based on the prophetic scriptures.
