Iran Crosses Another Red-Line
Begins Enriching Uranium at Underground Facility
Iranian news media outlets are reporting that that Iran is now enriching uranium at an underground (bomb-proof) bunker, safe from aerial bombing.

Iranian War Fears Spark Closure of
Israel's Nuclear Reactor at Dimona
Israel is now taking steps to shut down its nuclear reactor at Dimona. The facility reportedly makes nuclear weapons. The site is considered to be vulnerable to an Iranian ballistic missile attack should there be an outbreak of war with Iran.
A shutdown of the facility would limit the amount of radioactie fallout that might escape into the atmosphere should the facility be struck by enemy missiles. Israeli officials stressed however that the reactor merely conducts research and as such the research does not need to be carried out around the clock.
Sources report that the facility would shutdown before the launch of any Israeli or U.S. assualt on Iran's nuclear facilities.
The shutdown decision was made by Israel's civil defense leadership and Israel's Atomic Energy Commission.
A former official with Dimona reports that it would take a long time, many weeks to cool down a nuclear reactor and lower the level of radioactivity. While the facility is ringed with air defenses, but are not believed to be an adequate defense for the facility against Iranian ballistic missiles. Iran has already warned that Dimona would be a target site in the event of war. It should also be noted that the facility is also within range of many Syrian missiles, too.
