It's Time to Talk Turkey

We begin this Digest edition with some analysis of recent news developments related to Biblical Prophecy. Before we launch into our analysis let’s take a moment to briefly glance at recent top news headline developments as posted on our latest weekly Round Up and Spotlight.

At the moment, the nation of Turkey stands out for its activity on a variety of issues but Russia’s activities should not be overlooked from a prophetic perspective. For now, Iran is being overshadowed in the region by Turkish policy moves, which must irk the Iranian regime to no end. Suddenly, Iran finds itself competing for influence in the Middle East and for influence within Islam itself.

At a glance, it seems that Turkey is simply lashing out at any and everyone all around its neighborhood. Turkey appears to be ready to go to war against Israel, Cyprus, and Greece as well as against Syria and Iran, while at the same time slipping away from “Western” influences from the U.S. and NATO. The question arises as to what is Turkey trying to do?

First and foremost, Turkey’s political leaders are attempting to elevate Turkey’s power and influence to maximum levels within the Middle East region as part of an overall goal of establishing a new Turkish empire or “caliphate.” In order to achieve that goal, Turkey must stop Iran from achieving a similar role. Secondly, Turkey’s leaders are attempting to mask serious economic problems that plague most of the world’s nation. A third element is Turkey’s attempt to make itself “energy independent” and perhaps an energy exporter. The latter two points explain why Turkey is ready to take on Israel, Cyprus and Greece over energy exploration in the eastern Mediterranean.

At the moment, Turkey’s leaders appear to have taken on more foreign policy challenges than perhaps can be handled safely. Then again, perhaps there is more than meets the eye to Turkey’s policy maneuvers.

It seems entirely plausible that Turkish leaders are playing out a choreographed role as a potential enemy of Syria and Iran, in order to be in a position to join in the destruction of Israel as part of the Magog Confederation, which Ezekiel predicted would attempt to make war on Israel from the north.

 

Russia Enters the Mix

 

Entering into this mix would be the Russians. Until now, Russia has been trying to play all sides against each other while maintaining a relatively neutral stance. Russia
is doing everything it can to prevent another US-NATO venture that would seek to take out Syria. The Russians are reportedly prepared to sell advanced air defenses to Syria in an effort to stem attempts by the West to create “regime change” in Damascus. Why should Russia bother?

The Russians, as well as the Iranians develop foreign policy along the lines of a Chess match. Syria is but a pawn in the overall scheme of things. The world is a series of chess boards and the Middle East is but one of those boards. The Middle East is a doorway to the soft underbelly of Russia and thus a protective buffer zone.

Of course, the Middle East is also an oil region competing with Russia for the sale of energy products (oil & gas). By manipulating the Middle East energy exporters, Russia enhances its own status and financial wealth. It is in Russia’s best interests to maintain good relationships with all Middle East energy exporters, starting first with Iran which shares a common border with Russia. Russia’s purposes for the moment are primarily defensive, using Iran as a chess piece to help keep the “West” in check to avoid Western encroachment of Asian energy fields.

The Russians feel that the West seeks total, global domination of Russia’s energy resources. They perceive America’s attempts to gain alliances with former Soviet Republics in central Asia as stepping stones to strangling Russia and forcing Russia into a form of energy colonialism, for a source of “cheap energy.” The entire geo-political spectrum revolves around the notion of “cheap energy” supplies for the West to maintain Western civilization.

To counteract such Western strategies, Russia’s Prime Minister Putin is now proposing a new Euro-Asian Union composed of the old Soviet Republics forming a version of the European Union. By forming such a union, Russia blocks U.S. and Western initiatives in the region that threaten Russia’s national security. Putin envisions such a union as being a road block to Western “imperialism” in central Asia. Yet, before that can happen, Russia needs a nation like Iran to block and hold off “Western” encroachment in central Asia. For this reason alone, Russia has chosen to side with Iran in the event of a military attack by Israel and or the U.S. upon Iranian nuclear facilities. How much support Russia will provide to Iran remains to be seen. There have been rumors of a secret alliance between the two nations but none of our A-O intelligence sources have any such confirmation.

 

The Syrian Revolt

 

Shifting gears to the Syrian revolt situation; we are getting indications that the White House is manipulating Turkish leaders to shift their focus back to intervention against Syrian President Assad’s brutal crackdown, although it might be too late to do any good. Assad’s forces have rooted out most of the political opposition leaders and killed not only those individuals but also their families and even neighbors. Even so, Turkey launched some minor military maneuvers late into last week along the border with Syria, prompting alarm in Damascus.

The Turkish maneuvers were coordinated with Washington’s direction at the same time Israel conducted similar maneuvers along its border with Syria. Israeli authorities announced that the 2-day operation was a training exercise for the possibility of an outbreak of war during a holiday period, such as the upcoming Yom Kippur holiday. Israelis still remember the “Yom Kippur War” of 1973, when Arab forces launched surprise invasions into Israeli territories catching Israel’s armed forces by surprise.

Jordanian forces were also supposed to conduct similar maneuvers along its Syrian border but there were reports that Assad warned Jordan’s King Abdullah that any such maneuvers would result in Syrian air strikes against Jordanian towns. The king chose not to aggravate the situation further and cancelled the exercise.

The question now being asked is whether or not Turkey will take any military moves into Syria, risking a confrontation with Iran. Iranian leaders last week warned Turkey that any such efforts would trigger an Iranian military response. There remains much speculation and rumor-mongering that some sort of military action will break out in the region during October or early November.

Frankly, we are inclined to dismiss such regional speculations, but we do remind our readers that the Middle East is a tinderbox just waiting for a single spark to set the region on fire. Any little incident could quite easily mushroom into a war.
We do not think any military action will break out until there is some sort of UN action on the Palestinian petition for statehood. Such action could take place in October or early November, but we are also hearing from D.C. sources that the U.S. will attempt to keep any action bottled up until the end of the year or longer, if possible.

The European Financial Crisis Deepens

Many leading financial experts believe it is just a matter of time before the collapse of the Euro and the European Union. It is just a matter of time before Greece collapses with Spain and Italy not far behind. Some experts think this will happen in late October, while others think band-aids will continue to be applied to temporarily halt the collapse until sometime next year.

The European debt crisis is not merely a problem of European government debts but also numerous, large, European banks are also on the edge of bankruptcy. Last week,
Moody’s rating service downgraded ratings on a dozen key European banks, further underscoring the delicate nature of the European crisis.

The New World Order puppet-masters are working to collapse the entire global system at just the right moment in order to bring about a new global currency system and a new global governmental system and the target date remains, December of 2012.

Chaos comes to America’s Streets

For new readers to A-O who are unfamiliar with the nefarious New World Order group known as “The Illuminati” you should know that their motto and modus operandi for advancing their agenda is: “Order out of Chaos” or “Out of chaos, order.”

Their modus operandi is now revealing itself on America’s streets. Yes chaos is coming to America’s streets thanks to the movement calling itself “Occupy Wall Street.” Some mainstream media outlets will have you believe that the street protesters for “Occupy Wall Street” are just ordinary, middle-class Americans similar to the Tea Party movement. Other mainstream media outlets admit some of the protesters are liberals or left-wing proponents.

From what we’ve been able to determine, these street protesters are not necessarily Americans, but rather foreigners paid to come to America to protest. Some are nothing but international “anarchists” who routinely show up for G-10, or G-20 meetings. Some are fresh from fomenting chaos on European streets, such as the recent protests in Britain and strikes in Greece and France. There are some reports indicating that billionaire George Soros has provided financial support. Other names
being related to the protests are Move-on.org and unions associated with Obama and Soros. Whether or not these names are truly associated with the movement remains to be seen, but we suspect this is the case.

The ultimate goal seems to be an attempt to bring down Wall Street banks and big business and create chaos and anarchy throughout America, triggering a reason for the declaration of martial law and suspension of the Presidential and general election of 2012. Yes, its actually part of the overall coordinated effort to bring about a global government by the end of 2012.

At first, we ignored the initial protests, but now the protests have grown from a few dozen people who began the effort three weeks ago to hundreds last weekend and now during the week, we find their efforts being spread to other cities across America, with thousands now being marshaled onto the streets. It will be interesting to see if this effort will continue and for how long.

If this protest movement grows into something akin to the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, don’t be surprised if the Obama Administration tries to use these protests as a reason for implementing martial law and the suspension of elections. I suspect that the next few weeks will tell us if this effort catches fire or dies out, like so many other N.W.O. efforts in America. This is something we should keep an eye on for further development and direction.

Volcanic Activity – Canary Islands

In our Weekly News Round Up for 10-8-11, we posted stories about seismic activity in the Canary Islands and new concern that a deteriorating volcano flank known as the Cumbre Vieja might collapse into the sea and trigger a Mega-Tsunami. Some scientists theorize that such a collapse could trigger a mega-tsunami that could cause major devastation along the entire eastern seaboard of the United States as well as Europe, Africa and South America.

While seismic events have shot up dramatically in the Canary Islands since mid-July, we are inclined to think that such an event is not likely to occur until the Second Coming of Christ and the final bowl judgment when a “mega-quake” destroys all the mountains of the world and all the islands in the world sink under water, disappearing forever. Such a landslide could assist in bringing Babylon-America to its 2nd judgment – the water judgment in which Babylon-America slips beneath the waters to sink and never rise again as Jeremiah describes at the end of Chapter 51 and the angel describes in Revelation 18:21.

So, the reports of tremendous seismic activity in the Canary Islands only means the situation is warming up for future activity probably at the Second Coming of Christ.

Rumbling Rumors

There are some rumblings on internet forums from certain individuals claiming to be associated with the Illuminati that major events will unfold on key occult dates this year and next. The one date being repeatedly mentioned is 11/11/11. While this numerology may be of occult significance, their remarks do not indicate what kind of event they expect to unfold. Frankly, I doubt that these sources are authentic “illuminists” or know anything, but knowing just a tiny bit about occult numerology and Illuminati fondness for such dates, I wouldn’t be surprised to find something significant occurring on that date, but it may be more innocuous as opposed to something like a terror-strike.

Late Breaking News:

From Syria

On Friday (10/7) a Syrian government hit squad, assassinated a key leader in Syria’s Kurdish minority. Until now, the Syrian Kurds had not widely participated in open rebellion against the government, despite being the most well-armed. The death of Mashaal Tammo, head of the Kurdish Future Party may well trigger a Kurdish uprising the likes of which has never been seen before. Tammo was liked and well respected not only within the Syrian-Kurdish community but also across borders into the Kurdish communities in Turkey, Iraq and Iran.

Regional experts on the Kurdish community suspect that Tammo’s death may result in Iraqi and Turkish Kurd’s rising up to join their Syrian brethren in fighting to overthrow Assad’s regime. These Kurdish forces are well-trained, particularly those in Iraq who are equal to if not better trained and equipped (by the USA) than the Syrian Army. It could throw a whole new wrinkly into the situation and expand the scope of the Syrian Revolt. Assad may rue the day he ordered Tammo’s assassination.

 

From Saudi Arabia

The “Arab Spring” revolt movement has come to Saudi Arabia, sort of. Until last week, Saudi Arabia had not experienced the kind of street protests that triggered revolts in other African-Arab nations. Last week however, in Saudi Arabia’s coastal district of Qatif, populated by Shiite Muslims of Iranian background, street demonstrations triggered clashes with Saudi Security Forces. Shiite Muslims are a small minority within the Saudi kingdom but they are a majority population along the coastal region that is home to vital oil installations and oil fields.

It is believed that the demonstrations were being instigated by the Iranian government in an ongoing effort by Iran to destabilize the Saudi kingdom. It is a nightmare scenario that keeps the Saudi Royals awake at night that is now being played by the Iranians. The Saudi Royals will not take such meddling in a meek and mild manner. Already, the Saudi Kingdom quietly warned Tehran to stop the meddling or face war. If the Iranians continue to pursue such endeavors, look for the Saudis to take action against Iran either covertly or in the open within the next few days or weeks ahead, depending on whether Iran pursues matters further.
