YELLOW ALERT: Daily Update for 9-21-11
Yellow Alert Update
For 9-21-11
Editor's Note: The following is a list of major news headline developments related to 3 subjects with potentially critical implications of Biblical Prophecy fulfillment, namely,
1. The Palestinian bid for UN Statehood recognition of Palestine.
2. Turkish Government military threats against Israel, Cyrpus and Greece
3. The European Union economic/debt crisis threatening to dissolve the union.
Most of what you'll see below pertains to news developments in those 3 areas but we're also including other related and also significant Middle East developments. We will continue to posting daily updates for as long as conditions warrant - at least the next few days. With that in mind, the daily updates will take the place of our regular weekly news round ups.
One other note: In our previous update, we mentioned our own website financial crisis. We've received enough in donations since Monday to avert a collapse of our online operations today. We have enough to cover most of the invoices for the rest of this month, but we're still about $180 short and needed by or before 9/30/11. For those wishing to donate - please visit our donations page for details on how to donate online via Paypal or by US Postal service with a personal check. See Donations Page link below:

In the event of urgent "RED ALERT" developments we will shift to a 24/7 around the clock, continual updating format.

Obama To Meet with Palestinians
On Wednesday For Compromise Deal
About the UN Recognition Vote
The Obama Administration is still frantically trying to arrange a "deal" with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. President Obama will meet Abbas on Wednesday (9/21) to discuss a compromise proposal.
According to media reports, Abbas will agree to his continued plans to submit an application for UN recognition of statehood, but also debate on the Palestinian petition to be "tabled" for debate for an indefinite period, to allow further diplomatic efforts to arrive at a more acceptable solution. If approved, the U.S. could avoid the nasty prospects for a veto that could trigger widespread violence or even war across the Middle East.
The compromise solution would also allow the Palestinians to continue receiving U.S. financial aid to the tune of $600 million for the coming year.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has told the Palestinians it would provide $200 million in aid to replace financial support lost by U.S. sanctions. Turkey's Prime Minister told the Palestinians last week that Turkey would chip in and make up any lost finances from a cut-off of financial aid by the U.S. and Europe. It remains to be seen whether or not the Palestinians will accept the compromise before Abbas delivers his speech and petition to the UN on Friday (9/23).
