Turkey Threatens War on Israel
Turkish Navy to Challenge Israeli Naval Blockade of Gaza
In a stunning turn-about of diplomatic relations, Turkish leaders have not only decided to cut off diplomatic relations with Israel, but will now seek to confront Israel's naval blockade of the Gaza Strip.
The Turkish government is upset that the UN absolved Israel of any wrong doing when Israel foiled a flotilla of cargo ships bearing humanitarian aid for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in June of 2010. Israeli forces interdicted that flotilla and forced the ships to dock in Israel and unload their goods for inspection and holding up contriband before allowing the remainder of the shipment to proceed overland to Gaza. The incident killed several civilians including Turks.
Last week, the UN investigating commission released a report absolving Israel of any guilt, citing Israel's right to self-defense. This conclusion outraged the Turkish civilian government and prompted the cutting off of diplomatic ties with Israel.
On Friday, September 9, Turkey announced that it will send Turkish warships as escorts for another humanitarian aid flotilla to confront any Israeli Navy challenge. Thus, the stage is being set for a military confrontation that could result in a war between Israel and Turkey, much like the prophecies described by the prophet Ezekiel in chapters 38 and 39.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the decision to dispatch Turkish warships to protect the aid flotilla and he stated:
“From now on, we will not let these ships be attacked by Israel, as happened with the Freedom Flotilla.”
Keep in mind that Turkey has some defense agreements with Iran as well as with NATO.

Turkey Threatens Israel Over Oil & Gas
In addition to Turkey's threat to challenge Israel's naval blockade, Turkey has indicated that is will back Lebanon's challenge to Israel's claim to newly discovered oil and natural gas fields located off of Israel's coastline in the Mediterranean Sea.
Turkey's Prime Minister Erdogan stated: "Turkey will not allow Israel exclusive use of the resources of the Mediterranean Sea."
The Prime Minister's statement was a veiled reference to Israel's claim to the oil and gas fields located off of Israel's coastline. Those fields extend out to encompass the Lebanese coastline as well as Egypt's Sinai Peninsula coastline. Egypt and Lebanon both seek to lay claim to the deposits now being claimed exclusively by Israel.
The newly discovered natural gas field is so huge that it could provide Israel with all of its natural gas needs for 100 years with plenty left over to make Israel a major gas exporter.
This latest development comes amid an announcement that Turkish warships will accompany the next aid flotilla to Gaza and the warships will engage in naval combat with Israeli warships that try to enforce an Israeli naval blockade of the Gaza Strip.
All of this points to the prophecies of Ezekiel in chapters 38, 39 where "Magog" and a confederation of allies attack Israel from the north. At the time of the attack, the prophecies indicate observing nations ask the Magog leaders if they have "come to take a spoil." The latest response by the Turkish Prime Minister about the gas fields, suggests Turkey has a hidden motive of financial gain in conquering Israel and taking possession of those gas fields.
