Pre-Judgment? Divine Wrath?
(A-O Newswire) -- It is the position of this website that the United States of America is, in fact, the prophetic Babylon empire of the end-times as predicted by Isaiah, Jeremiah and in the Book of Revelation chapters 17 and 18.
With that in mind, we are noting a confluence of events unfolding in America this summer, which raise the question as to whether or not America is experiencing a Divinge Chastisement as a prelude to the first of two Divine Judgments that will wipe America from the face of the earth, foreever.
Consider the following confluence of events now unfolding:
Anti-Israel Foreign Policies of Obama
President Obama's anti-Israel foreign policies include pressures to force Israel into giving up large chunks of territory that have been historically part of ancient Israel. This are lands promised by God to Abraham and occupied by Israel from around 1400 BC until the nation was exiled in 586 B.C. and then later restored until 70 A.D.
President Obama's policies include efforts to force Israel to give up not only the "West Bank" territory along the Jordan River, but also East Jerusalem, so that it can become the capital for a Palestinian nation which would include the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and extend the strip in a narrow corridor to the West Bank.
Obama has also insulted Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu with less than cordial hospitality during Netanyahu's first visit to America after Obama came to power. Such shabby treatment along with throwing Israel under the bus in terms of national security reminds us of God's promise to Abraham and Abraham's descendants which stated: "I will bless those that bless you and curse those who curse you." See Genesis 12:3.
Could Obama's "cursing" of Israel (and some leaks within his White House staff report he has literally in the past cursed Israel and the leadership) be the reason for problems now converging on America? While we cannot definitively state that what is now happening in America is a Divinely ordained "pre-judgment" upon Babylon-America, we do strongly suspect that Genesis 12:3 remains in effect and for this reason alone, America may be suffering God's curse for Obama's betrayal of Israel.
So what are the elements now impacting on America that may be a pre-wrath judgment based on Genesis 12:3 if not the Babylon factors? Read the following news headlines and links and judge for yourself whether or not America's current woes may be due to God's direct or indirect hand.

America's Financial Crisis Looms
While The A-O Report has not covered the current political wrangling over America's debt and budget crisis, the U.S. is on the verge of defaulting on its bonds and government security borrowings. The U.S. Treasure says that by August 2, the US debt ceiling must be raised or face defaults on its loans. Such a default could trigger a Great Depression not only for America, but worldwide.
Destroying Winds Sweep Across America
In the spring, America experienced one of the worst tornado outbreaks in its history, including a massive, EF-5 Tornado which obliterated much of Joplin, Missouri and weeks earlier a flock of large tornadoes tore through the southern states such as Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi, leveling many towns in those areas. Not only have tornadoes plagued America this year but also monsoonal rains and apocalyptic-type hail stones as big as softballs.
Massive Flooding in Northern and Middle America
With abnormally large amounts of winter snows across America, particularly in the northern portions of America, snow melt combined with monsoonal rains across America's heartland have triggered massive flooding problems along the Ohio, Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, (and their tributary rivers) which when combined become the world's largest river system of more than 6,000 miles in length. Large portions of adjacent river bottom lands are now flooded from Montana through North and South Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana. The flooding continues into July and the extent and cost of damage remains an unknown, but certainly of epic proportions.
Massive Heat Wave
As the month of June began, portions of the USA were enveloped in record-setting heat. The heat abated for some areas as the month developed by as the first week of July settled, a new heat wave emerged and by the second week of July gripped nearly half the nation, from Middle America and the South to the Atlantic Coast region. Heat indexes are ranging as high as 110 to 120 degrees and may climb even higher as forecasters predict a continuation of the heat wave, perhaps throughout much of the remaining summer.
Apocalyptic Drought & Dust Bowl Concerns
While large portions of Middle America experience flooding, just the opposite has developed across much of the southern portion of the United States. Drought condistions stretch from portions of Arizona, through New Mexico and cover nearly all of Texas and Oklahoma. Drought conditions then continue eastwards across much of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina and into portions of Virginia and Maryland. There are also portions of southern and eastern Kansas experiencing either severe or moderate drought conditions.
Drought conditions are so bad that numerous wildfires have plagued portions of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and Florida. In some areas of the American Southwest, dust storms have swept across the region much like dust storms across North Africa's Sahara Desert. These storms are reminders of the infamous "Dust Bowl" era of the 1930s across the region, prompting many to wonder if we're on the verge of experiencing another "Dust Bowl" era.

Heat Warnings Grip Nearly Half of USA
Heat Advisories/Warnings Affect 23 States
It is a brutal heat wave now affecting half of America, including much of the South, Midwest and East Coast regions. Record high temperatures and choking humidity levels are creating heat indexes making temperatures feel like it is 110 to 120 degrees.
The suffocating heat and humidity make it very difficult for many to handle the heat without remaining in air conditioning. Weather forecasters have begun to suspect that the heat wave could remain in place across much of the USA for much of the summer, triggering additional drought problems for even larger portions of the United States than before.
The Alpha-Omega Report's office is located in the very middle of America in the state of Missouri. We've experienced above normal temperatures since the first of June, after being clobbered by weeks of Tornadoes and severe storms.
The severe heat has greatly impacted on A-O's ability to remain online and publish articles in a timely manner, thanks in part to our office dynamics, a desire to reduce increased electrical costs of air conditioning to keep our computers cool. We've also experienced electrical brown outs including ones over the past weekend and the start of this week, which postponed our publishing efforts for the past few days. Our electrical bills may triple or quadruple due to constant air conditioning to keep our computer office cool enough (at 82 degrees) to avoid computer meltdowns, so that we can continue to monitor news and publish for our readers.
