The Middle East To Face Political Tsunami in September

June is shaping up to be a pre-cursor for a geo-political tsunami in the Middle East over the debate for the recognition of a Palestinian nation based upon the pre-war Israeli borders of 1967.

Palestinian leaders and leaders around the Arab world are maneuvering within the United Nations for official recognition of a Palestinian nation based upon the borders that existed prior to the Mideast War of 1967.

Arab leaders have joined Palestinians in lobbying the governments of Western nations for approval of a proposed UN measure that would recognize a new Palestinian nation much like the UN did for Israel in 1948.

Such a development will lead to an eventual war for Israel's survival as the pre-1967 Israeli borders kept that nation in a perilous state of potentail annihilation. Prior to the 1967 war, the middle part of Israel was less than a dozen miles in width in some places.

With such a narrow waistline, Israel was vulnerable to invasion by an Arab army that could march across Israel's middle in less than an hour and cut Israel in half. Once Israel's lines of communication were severed, the nation could be militarily annihilated in piecemeal fashion. This is why Israel has consistently refused to give up the large West Bank territory as occupation of that region prevents such an easy military move.


Arab and Palestinian leaders plan to present their case to the UN for Palestinian nationhood on September 13th of this year, when the 66th session of the UN General Assemby convenes a new round of annual business. Hearings and a general debate as well as a vote for Palestinian nationhood is expected to take place during the debate period of Semptember 26-30.  During this time, the 2-day Feast of Rosh Hashanah will take place beginning at sundown on September 28 and continue through the 30th. Readers should note the occult symbolism in the numerology of the date and it being the 66th UN Assembly, with debate on Palestine transpiring on Rosh Hashanah. Could this portend some Prophetic significance? Perhaps.

It seems entirely likely that the UN will vote to recognize a nation of Palestine during Rosh Hashanah or shortly thereafter.

What we find highly intriguing is that some Bible Prophecy scholars theorize that the Rapture of the Church will take place during one of the 2 days during a Rosh Hashanah Feast.  Dr. Larry Patrick, President of Charis Theological Seminary has stated that the Rosh Hashanah Feast Days in 2011 coincide with certain Jewish lunar calendar cycles related to Messianic implications.

This year also ties into the idea of a 70 year generation of witnesses to Israel's birth in which Jesus, Himself stated would not pass away until all of the End of the Age prophecies he'd just described were fulfilled culminating with His Second Coming. The 70 year period would culminate in 2018 at the end of a 7 year period of prophesied Great Tribulation that is then theorized to being in 2011 on Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish New Year.

Keep in mind that this is ALL just theoretical and certainly NOT an attempt to be date-setting for anything. However, by the very intriguing confluence of issues and the calendar and various theories, we think it is very, very important that all Christians need to be alert and aware of such theories for the possibility that Bible Prophecy will begin to yield the entire string of prophetic fulfillments described to take place during the Great Tribulation Period. In other words, the Great Tribulation could unfold and start this fall. If that is true, and IF indeed the Pre-tribulation Rapture theory - is indeed correct, we should be alert for His Return for the Church at any point in time, even perhaps before Rosh Hashanah.
