IMF Chief Arrested For Sex Assault in NYC

The managing director for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominique Strauss-Kahn was arrested at New York Citiy's JFK Airport, after fleeing a NYC hotel when a hotel housekeeping maid reported that international banker had tried to rape her. The head of hte IMF was apparently trying to flee the country after the incident.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, is in charge of day-to-day operations for what amounts to being the world's "central banker." Dominique Strauss-Kahn, a French citizen was contemplating a run for the French Presidency next year despite having a reputation as a womanizer. He is considered by many to be one of the top 10 most powerful men in the world.

Get Ready for $50 Light Bulbs

Mandated in USA by Congress

A new law passed by Congress bans traditional light bulbs beginning in January of 2012. The new types of approved light bulbs will cost any where from $22 to $50 per bulb. Consumer affairs experts predict a massive hoarding of the remaining inventory of incandescent light bulbs by American consumers which can cost as little as 4 bulbs for one dollar. Our American A-O readers would be well advised to stock up on incandescent bulbs this summer, fall and winter while such bulbs are still legally available for sale.

The new law passed by Congress was designed to help prevent global warming by reducing greenhouse gas emissions that used more electricity than prototype "green" bulbs. The problem is that the newly mandated bulbs can contain mercury vapors, which if broken can create environmental hazards and cause cancer.
