Israel Deploys Missile Defense Shield
Israel has decided to deploy the advance elments of its missile defense shield, code-named "Iron Dome."
The advanced deployment of Iron Dome is due in large measure to concerns that the regional revolutions could spark a sudden war with Israel.
Another reason for early deployment, while still undergoing testing and development, is due to a recent spate of small missile bombardments from Hamas' forces in the Gaza Strip. Yet, the real concern in Israel is that the latest round of civilian protests in Syria might prompt Syria's dictator to save himself from overthrow by triggering a sudden war with Israel.
Without a doubt, what the Iron Dome deployment does underscore is the deep concern by the Israeli government concerning the security of Israel as it is sourrounded by neighboring nations plunging into chaos and teetering on the edge of anarchy. For more details on the Israeli deployment, LINK HERE.

Iran To Expand Relations with Armenia
Jeremiah 51:27: Minni = Armenia?
Jeremiah 51 and verse 27 indicates a coalition emerges to take on Babylon in Messianic prophecy just prior to the Second Coming of Christ. The passage relates how this coalition takes on a future Babylon empire in part of the fiery destruction of the first judgment upon Babylon.
The term "Minni" is associated with a territory within the modern-day borders of Iran but many of the Minni tribe immigrated into what is present-day Armenia, home to a substantial Muslim community.
Whether or not the improved relations between Iran and Armenia are prophetically significant remains to be seen. I do not think it is vital for the prophetic aspects, but an alliance between the two nations would certainly make for a dramatic underscoring of the prophecy. For more on this news story, LINK HERE.
