To Set the Stage for The Antichrist

If you’ve been paying any attention to the news, even the mainstream news media, you know that politcal unrest has swept like wildfire throughout the Middle East and it is threatening to turn the entire Arab world on its head, shattering the status quo established after World War 2.

Many commentators have chalked up the unrest to resentment by the majority of citizens in each country against a small group of ruling elites in country after country.

The majority of the protesters claim they want more freedom and democracy, yet there is a spiritual element to this unrest and it is being fomented by a spiritual angelic entity at work behind the scenes.

This entity is a fallen angel of the Kosmokrator-class of the angelic realm and was originally “the” power behind the Babylonian empire known by the Babylonians as Ishtar, The Mother of the Harlots and as the goddess of Freedom/Liberty.

 

We do get glimpses of this behind-the-scenes angelic activity in human geo-political events.

Daniel, chapter 10 notes this when the archangel, Gabriel explains to Daniel that he, Gabriel, had been “ambushed” or “bushwhacked” while on his way to deliver a message to Gabriel from God. Gabriel briefly explains that the “Sar” (Hebrew or “Kosmokrator” in Greek) of Persia (often translated as “prince”)  was responsible for the “military” attack which delayed Gabriel’s appearance to Daniel. Gabriel states that he was held up for 21 days and had to call upon the archangel, Michael for reinforcements so that Gabriel could continue on his mission to deliver God’s message to Daniel.

After Gabriel delivers his message to Daniel, he closes his message by informing Daniel that he, Gabriel, must leave to engage the “Sar” or “Kosmokrator” of Greece, the next empire to be coming onto the scene.

We see that same terminology show up in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians in chapter 6 and verse 12, where Paul states that we “wrestle” against – and then he lists a series of titles of various ranks of authority within the angelic realm, one of which is “Kosmokrator.”

Literally, that word means “world-ruler.” It relates to an angelic entity who is assigned to a given nation with a vast number of fallen angels under his authority, who then is ordered to manipulate and move the leaders of his assigned nation to do the will of Satan.

Now, in applying this knowledge to our time, we know that the chief, end-time Kosmokrator in charge just before the rise of the Antichrist is none other than the one called “The MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS” and also the “Great Whore” of Babylon

Historical Background

The Great Whore of Babylon

As I have proven in my previous writings (“America, The Babylon: Volumes 1 and 2) as well as in other E-books and articles of mine, found on The Alpha-Omega Report website, the woman, called the “Great Whore” and the “Mother of the Harlots” and described by her actions with the Kings and merchants of the earth is none other than the entity known and worshipped in ancient Babylon as the Goddess Inanna or Ishtar.

Ishtar/Inanna was Babylon’s chief goddess and the most popular of the various pagan religions of Babylon. The Babylonians referred to her by her many and descriptive titles including “Mother of the Harlots,” and the “Great Whore” as well as “Goddess of Liberty/Freedom” among dozens of other titles.

The Babylonians described her as being one of the Anunnaki beings who came down to earth from heaven in flying vehicles and engaged in sexual relations with humanity. These beings were the same ones referenced in Genesis chapter 6 as “the sons of God” or in the Hebrew as “benai hahelohim.”

That Hebrew term is only found again in Job chapter 2 where the “benai hahelohim” are summoned twice to meet God on His throne and the text also states that “Satan” also came with them. Job’s reference indicates to us that these “benai hahelohim” were indeed super-natural beings of the “angelic” realm and not human beings as is widely viewed today.

So, the Babylonians note that the “Anunnaki” or “Benai hahelohim” are in fact, fallen angels, which are some of the same ones which Jude speaks of. The book of Enoch also makes a similar claim.

So that, the Babylonian goddess known as Ishtar, the Mother of the Harlots and the Great Whore of Babylon is in fact a fallen angel presenting itself to humanity as a feminine gender for the purpose of diverting worship away from the one true God, the Creator-God of the Universe.

Ishtar's Religion was a Mystery Religion

Ishtar’s religion was presented as a “Mystery” religion because she held certain of her doctrines to be secrets or “mysteries” and only devoted worshipers were given these secrets or mysteries.

Among her non-secret doctrines was the doctrine of “holy sex” in which salvation was achieved by engaging in “holy” sexual relations with a Temple Priestess. The Temple Priestesses were called “harlots” or “whores.” An Ishtar whore or harlot was in fact what we would call a priestess. A harlot or whore in ancient Babylon was considered a “holy” or ‘sinless’ woman by whom one could become purified from sin, by engaging in sexual relations with a harlot/whore in the Ishtar Temple.

After a worshiper had engaged in the “holy sex” rite at the Temple, the worshiper would provide a “thanksgiving offering” – which would consist of gold and or silver coins minted by the Temple and the Temple Bank.

Ishtar’s Temple developed the concept of money and banking, including the concept of lending money with interest and fractional reserve banking. Our entire concept of economics, money and banking sprang forth from the goddess Ishtar, the “Mother of the Harlots.” It was through her monetary banking system that Babylon became a great empire.

Ishtar’s religion also had another important and public doctrine known as “The Sacred Marriage Rite.” This involved the King going to the temple on New Year’s Eve and engaging in “holy sex” with the Chief High Priestess.

The concept of holy sex involved the idea that the spirit of the goddess would come down and inhabit the body of the Priestess (harlot/whore) and the Priestess would become “one” with the goddess.

In this manner then, the King would also become “one” with the goddess during intercourse and become “baptized” by the sexual secretions created during the act. This would signify that the “sins” were washed away and the worshiper purified from sin and become “one” with the goddess. This is of course, pure blasphemy before the Creator-God as a false form of salvation.

Ishtar’s worshipers included the merchants of the earth, who used her monetary system as a means for international trade. Ishtar coinage was the universal form of money throughout the world and Merchants therefore worshiped her as a result, when they’d make pilgrimage to Babylon during their trading travels.

Another public aspect of Ishtar’s religion was that unlike the other pagan deities, she heard the prayers of her worshipers and would sometimes grant their prayerful requests.

Because of this, she was the principle goddess of slaves longing for freedom and liberty.

It was thought that by praying to her, sometimes she would answer their prayers for freedom and liberty, although her main ‘mystery’ doctrine of liberty was sexual freedom away from God, because she sanctified and made holy almost all types of sexual activities including – male and female homosexuality as well as adultery and incest.

For these reasons she was given the title of “Goddess of Freedom and Liberty.”

Now Ishtar’s religion was quite popular for millennia, beginning at least at the time of the Tower of Babel if not even before the Flood of Noah. As empires succeeded Babylon, Ishtar’s religion was adopted. She was known in Egypt as Isis or Ishi or Ishti. In Greece she was known originally as Astarte and then later as Aphrodite before the Greeks syncretized her doctrines into individual goddess names for each aspect of her character.

By 600 B.C. her religion found its way to early Rome and for 300 years was worshipped as the goddess Libertas, the goddess of Liberty/Freedom. Shortly after 300 B.C. all of her mystery doctrines were adopted and her name was changed to goddess Venus. Ishtar’s base of operations was attributed by the Babylonians to be on or orbiting the Planet Venus. Hence the reason for naming her the Goddess Venus, the goddess of Love.

 

The American Connection:

Now, we come to our application of this background information.

In the American Revolution, the founding fathers adopted the Roman goddess Libertas as the female symbol of freedom and liberty which America would adopt. The founding fathers initially called the U.S. Capitol building as “the Temple of the goddess of Liberty or the Temple of Liberty. Later, for the sake of brevity it simply was referred to as “the Capitol.” This was a reference to the Roman name for a pagan temple called the “Capitoleum.” The architecture of the Capitol was based upon the Roman pagan temple called – the Pantheon – a pagan temple dedicated to ALL the pagan gods of Rome. They borrowed that concept from the Babylonians.

In 1863, a statue of goddess Libertas (Ishtar, Mother of the Harlots) was placed atop the Capitol dome.

In reality, the Capitol is the Temple of the goddess of Liberty/Libertas/Ishtar and her idol image – stands atop the dome as a guardian angel (Kosmokrator) of the nation. She is envisioned by the sculptor as a warrioress, which Ishtar was also considered as the goddess of war in Babylon.

The Capitol’s statue of Libertas includes a headpiece or “crown” which is very close to the headpiece worn by the Chief High Priestess of the Ishtar Temple in Babylon. Oddly enough though, in the 1860s, no one knew what this head piece looked like. It wasn’t until the next century that archaeologists discovered the head piece during excavations at Babylon.

Perhaps the most famous idol/statue image of Libertas is the one standing in New York’s harbor – the Statue of Liberty. It too was the artistic rendering of Libertas by Frederic Bartholdi. He admitted such in his private writings about the statue. In reality, the Statue of Liberty is an idol image of Ishtar, the Mother of the Harlots and symbol of America.

Of course, Libertas silver coins were minted not long after the Revolution. In reality this is homage given to Ishtar, the Great Whore of Babylon, the Mother of the Harlots.

How This Applies to Mideast in Revolt

Now in regards to our present day situation, we need to realize that the symbol of America, Liberty/Libertas/Ishtar is looked upon by Arabs in the Middle East as an inspiration for revolt and freedom from their oppressive regimes. Or at least this is attributed as such by members of the mainstream media.

In reality, behind the scenes in the spiritual realm, the fallen angel, Ishtar, Kosmokrator of America is hard at work spreading her “religion” of “freedom” and “liberty” to a segment of humanity that was perhaps not quite fully under her domain or not nearly as much as desired.

In reality, her actions are part of the Satanic plan to re-orient the international order and prepare it for the global kingdom of the Antichrist. Yet before this can be achieved, God has other plans in mind – her destruction and that of her national base of operations, America. This is the meaning of Revelation, chapters 17 and 18 as well as Isaiah 13, 14, 47 and Jeremiah 50 and 51.

What we are now witnessing in the Middle East is the last gasp of Ishtar and her doctrinal mystery of Liberty and Freedom away from God, which sets the stage for the Antichrist to reign on Earth.

With that understanding, we should likely expect to see the continuation of chaos in the Middle East. At the moment, the focus is on Libya, which appears to be caught up in a civil war. Egypt is still in foment and chaos, despite the demise of Egyptian President Mubarak and the installment of a military junta. Tunisia is still in political turmoil after its revolution in January.

The next stage for revolt is being set in the Persian Gulf. Already, the Arabian peninsula is being hit by protests and riots in Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, and now the stirrings in Saudi Arabia for revolt.

On March 11, a “Day of Rage” is planned. The organizers hope that this will launch a revolt in the Saudi Kingdom. Whether a revolt takes place, remains to be seen, but we are seeing in this wave of chaos, the efforts of the Satanic realm, notably Ishtar, mother of the harlots to prepare the way for the world to accept the Antichrist and his Kingdom.

It will result in the Divine intervention that brings about the destruction of Ishtar, the fallen Kosmokrator-class angel and her national base of operations – America. Only then will the Antichrist emerge – (Revelation 17:12-14) and the Antichrist and his 10 “horns” will watch and observe in horror at the Divine destruction of Ishtar by God’s angelic forces and of her empirical base of operations, America as described in Revelation chapter 18 – PLUS – Jeremiah 50 and 51 and Isaiah 13 and 47.

Will Ishtar’s destruction and that of America take place in 2011 or later? We do not know the answer, but I do find it very conceivable that 2011 might well be the death year of America in a fiery, one hour destruction, followed seven years later by the last Divine judgment (found in Revelation 16:17-21 and 18:21 and Jeremiah 51: 42, 55 & 64. In these last passages we find Babylon sinking beneath the ocean waves never to rise again.

How does this fit with The Rapture?

This will happen just as Jesus Christ appears in the skies at His Second Coming.

It is my humble opinion that the Rapture of the Church will proceed Babylon-America’s destruction as we see Revelation 18:4 indicating the Rapture of the Church just prior to the decree of Divine Judgment upon Babylon which follows in verses 5 and afterward. Verse 4 is the same description as found in First Thessalonians 4:16-18 in which Paul tells us that there will be a “shout of command” for the dead in Christ to arise first and in the blink of an eye afterward, so too those who are alive will be transformed into a resurrected, eternal body. 

Verse 4 is a “verse of command” as evidence by the original Greek Grammar. The entire verse is written in the “Imperative mood of command.” By the rules of Greek Grammar this means the verse is a command that must be obeyed.

Verse 4 also includes the double repetition of the Greek verb “ek” which means to “Come Up and Out of” towards the speaker giving the command. In this verse, the speaker is located in the heavens, so that the command is indicating that the hearers of the command are to Come Up and out of – towards the speaker in the heavens.  This then is “the Shout of Command” which Paul describes to the Thessalonians in chapter 4.

By virtue of the fact that this Rapture command precedes the decree of judgment upon Babylon indicates that the Rapture precedes the first, fiery judgment upon Babylon.

It should also be noted that the Babylonian fiery judgment, a one hour event is the same one hour in which the Antichrist is voted into power by the 10 horns as found in Revelation 17:12-14.

With that understood, we can expect the Rapture to take place before the first, the fire destruction of America, which then triggers the rise to power of the Antichrist and the start of the Great Tribulation era.

All of this might very well take place at some point during this year, if indeed Babylon-America’s end is that near.
