Protests Hit Saudi Arabia
Building To a "Day of Rage" for 3-11-11

Dissdent citizens of Saudi Arabia seeking democracy have expanded their protest plans from a single "Day of Rage" demonstration scheduled for 3/11/11 to a weeklong event starting on 3/7/11. Those plans were effectively disrupted on the first day by Saudi government interference.

The protestors had planned for a week long series of protests culminating with the "Day of Rage" to be held on Friday, 3/11/11. The weeklong series of protests have since been cancelled to allow for focusing on the Friday "Day of Rage" protests.
