Hezbollah Takes To Beirut Streets
Protesting UN Indictments
Hezbollah and its Lebanese supporters took to the streets in Beirut to protest the delivery of indictments to the International Court of Justice at The Hague in the Netherlands.
Not only were there street protests but schools were closed and roads and highways blocked off as part of an effort to protest the UN move.
Over in Washington, D.C., President Obama hailed the UN indictments as an important step to prevent murder with impunity.

UN Prosecutor Claims Compelling Evidence
The UN's special tribunal prosecutor who handled the investigation into the assassination of Lebanaese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri told reporters at a news conference that the evidence contained in the sealed indictments is compelling. Sources close to the investigation report that key evidence is contained in detailed logs of mobile phone calls amongst the conspirators.
There are also reports that there is substantial evidence that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei ordered the assassination and Syria's President Assad and his intelligence chieftains were involved in the operational oversight of the assassination team.
If the Court determines it will proceed, arrest warrants will be handed down for apprehension, although no one believes that any of the named indictees will be physically arrested, particularly any heads of state. For more details, LINK HERE.
