A-O Report Website News
The Alpha-Omega Report is finally getting back to a more normal routine for keeping you posted on news developments. We’re still getting a feel for the new software that has been installed, particularly for the new formatting of our Free Subscriber News Alerts and Newsletter system. Finally after almost two months of not being able to send out our E-mail news alerts, we sent out our first News Alert last week after posting our regular weekly updates. We also published our post-election analysis and issued an alert afterwards.
I hope we’ll be able to utilize some new E-mail format features in the future. One feature is the ability to publish our alerts and newsletters in html format for a richer look that may just be easier to read. It’s supposed to give us the ability to include graphics and images, though I’m not sure how practical that would be considering such elements take up memory size and we’re trying to keep sizes down to a minimum so its easier for you to open up and read.
Keep in mind, that our News Alerts and Newsletters are available on a FREE Subscription basis. We do not share your e-mail address with anyone, so there’s no worry about being spammed. I hate spam and I certainly don’t want to be accused of being a spammer. We try to keep our need to send out Alerts to a minimum. We do send out the alerts when we’ve posted new articles to the website. Sometimes we’ll add additional comments or advice on news developments or explain an article. Other times we may comment on website developments or changes. On occasion, I may send out a newsletter commentary on the latest developments without posting anything to the website, so it is valuable to be a subscriber to The Alpha-Omega Report’s News Alerts.
Check Your SPAM Folder
If you’re a subscriber for our Free Alerts by e-mail, and you’ve not noticed our emails this past week, please check your spam filters or spam folder. It is possible that with our new system, your spam filter or folder may not recognize our email as a friendly and welcomed piece of e-mail. Depending on your email service, you should be able to correct such a problem by consulting with your email service on how to designate mail as not being “spam” so that it comes directly to your in-box.
How to Subscribe
If you’re not yet a subscriber to our FREE e-mail News Alerts, it’s very easy to subscribe. In the top, right hand corner of every page within The Alpha-Omega Report public website section, you’ll find a little box with the word “NEWSLETTER” and below that two empty boxes where you’ll fill in your name. It can be a first name only or a full name if you wish. Just add a name to identify your self. Below that box is a second box for you to input your email address. Below that is a button labeled “Subscribe” – click that button and you’re information is entered into our system. We’ll send you a confirmation email – which you must then respond back with to confirm your subscription. Once that’s done, you’re a subscriber.
How to Un-Subscribe.
If you should choose to un-subscribe for any reason, just include your name and email address and hit the ‘Unsubscribe” button. Usually a reader will unsubscribe if he’s closing out an email account. You can have us mail alerts to more than one email address, too. Just follow the directions for any additional email address.
A-O Website Finances & Donations
The Alpha-Omega Report is a publication totally dependent upon donations from readers like yourself who appreciate all the information that The Alpha-Omega Report provides. Without donations, this website cannot exist. For nearly 10 years I financed the website costs out of my own pocket at great personal, financial sacrifice, until about three years ago when my own financial circumstances prevented me from fully financing the operating costs of the website.
As time has passed, my ability to finance the website’s costs have diminished to almost nothing in most months. This is not a website where I’m getting wealthy from donations. In fact, just the opposite has occurred. It seems that my sacrifices each month increase my own financial poverty, but that’s of my own choosing because I believe The Alpha-Omega Report is being used by God for His greater glory and I wish to do all that I can to be of service to Him and to you. I really feel that I have no other option other than to persevere in His service as long as He allows and is able to provide just enough to keep things going.
In the past two years, donations have just barely been enough to cover monthly expenses and a special donation was made to enable me to replace the primary news computer when the old one locked up. This donation allowed us to continue this summer at a time when I thought we’d met a final end to the website.
In the past two months, we’ve fallen behind on donations due to website interruptions of our email alerts service. This then also necessitated a total overhaul of the website software to get our website back up to the necessary internet protocol standards. This was achieved by some close friends whose skills enabled the transition without additional monetary burdens, although I do owe them money – IF – somehow I should ever get financially healthy enough to pay them at least something for their 100+ hours of labor.
Even with their magnanimous gesture of support, donations collapsed last month, leaving me with some outstanding and overdue invoices once again. More than half our October costs went unpaid although we did catch up on the overdue September bills. Now, as we enter November, this week I’m facing two new service cut-offs if left unpaid by the 9th and the 15th.
I am hoping that since we’re now back to regular and “Normal” publishing operations again, readers will once again be able to donate to cover these overdue invoices and keep our website functioning and able to keep you informed of prophetic developments as well as provide new, educational articles on Bible Prophecy and Biblical Studies. If you can help with a donation of any amount, please visit our “Donations Page” – LINK HERE , for directions on how to donate safely and securely online via Paypal and or by a personal check via the US Post Office.
New donors will also have access to our “Donor’s Section” entitled “The A-O Insider Report” which features our regular editions of “The A-O Intelligence Digest” plus other added articles from time to time. New donors will receive an email with the appropriate log in information for access to that portion of the website. If you’re a new donor and do not receive your log in information within a 24 hour period, please contact me by email to our donor’s services – at – donorhelp at aoreport dot com. That email address also applies if any donor has any kind of technical problems or questions. If you donating by mail, please include an e-mail address so we can send you the appropriate log in information quickly by email.
News Commentary for the Week
U.S. Midterm Elections and Bible Prophecy
Last week was hectic with our coverage of the U.S. Mid-term elections. It was certainly a momentous week and brought us a mid-term election of historic proportions. The Republicans managed to sweep out enough incumbent Democrats in the House of Representatives to set a modern-day record for incumbent change-over. Not since 1938 has an incumbent party lost so many House seats in a mid-term election. Undoubtedly, the election will have at least some small impact on Biblical Prophecy development. How so?
As the lone Super-power nation, the United States has tremendous influence on events in the Middle East and that of course means an impact on how prophetic developments transpire or do not transpire. The United States is still the leader in the global economy and therefore the elections have an impact on America’s economy, which in turn impacts on the world’s economy.
The 2010 midterm elections most immediate impact is being felt by the White House as President Obama prepares for the G-20 economic summit being held this week in Seoul, South Korea.
While the President is out of town, Democrats are huddling together to recover from the shocking election results. They’ll be trying to figure out how to proceed for the next two years. Many top leaders are now concerned that Obama is going to drag them down to another disaster in 2012. We’ll be providing more details on the political back-room bickering and in-fighting in this week’s Intelligence Digest edition. We’re hearing rumbling rumors suggesting that Obama might be forced out of office and or at least face re-nomination challenges from other Democrats, especially when Hillary Clinton told Asian reporters last week that she would not run for the White House in 2012 or 2016.
We’ll give further analysis on Hillary’s announcement, also in the Intelligence Digest.
The G-20 Summit
President Obama’s Asian trip will be highlighted by his attendance at the G-20 summit in South Korea on November 11 and 12 – this coming Thursday and Friday.
The primary focus of this summit is on the global economic system and proposals for reform and restructuring of financial rules and regulations from a nation-based system to an international, globally governed set of laws, which will then be used as a platform basis for the establishment of a “One-World” – “Global” government.
As we understand it, there will be discussions on how to restructure the current system and transform it into an internationally governed system using the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The World Bank’s President has just suggested the idea of debating the merits of establishing a new Global Gold Standard. It would part of an effort to regulate the value of the world’s currencies and shift the world from national currencies into a single, monetary system for the entire world to use. In other words, the G-20 summit will attempt to make moves to establish a One-World Monetary system that will undoubtedly be an “electronic” form of currency.
Also up for discussion will be a UN proposal for a new “global tax” to be paid to the UN by the international banking system. Yes, the proposal suggests that anyone with a bank account will pay a yearly UN tax for the privilege of having a bank account or using banking services. This is the preliminary move that will open up the door for the eventual development of a 6-6-6 money system which the book of Revelation prophesies in chapter 13. These initial proposals will not likely be, in and of themselves, the Mark of the Beast. Instead, these proposals simply open the door for such a later development.
Financial Feuding?
Look for major fireworks at the G-20 Summit between President Obama and the Chinese. The Chinese and many other nations are now very worried after the U.S. Federal Reserve announced it would buy $600 billion in U.S. debt to provide additional liquidity for the American economy. We’ll explain more about this development in our next A-O Intelligence Digest edition but suffice to say, the Fed’s announcement has put the international banking community, including the world’s central bankers on edge and that might be putting it mildly. In our A-O Intelligence Digest edition for donors, we’ll explain how this may or many not impact on Biblical Prophecy developments, particularly perhaps the Babylon prophecies.
The Middle East
The U.S. mid-term elections put a temporary damper on developments in the Middle East last week. There wasn’t much to report in the public sector. Everyone in the region was sitting back awaiting election developments and then afterwards spent the week trying to figure out what a new American Congress might do for the next two years concerning American policies in the Middle East.
Lebanon
The pot continues to boil incessantly as Hezbollah waits anxiously to see if the UN Tribunal will dare to indict leaders of Hezbollah for conspiracy to assassinate the late Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in 2005. Hezbollah has warned that any indictments would result in either a coup or a civil war against the Lebanese government.
It is unclear as to how soon the UN Tribunal will make such a move although most analysts we’ve heard from believe the UN Tribunal will make such indictments eventually.
We’re hearing such a move will happen before the end of the year, but keep in mind we’d heard that it would happen by the end of October, too. When it does, expect things to accelerate quickly into absolute chaos in Lebanon. Israeli sources indicate that the Netanyahu government will more than likely be forced to take direct military action to intervene and prevent Hezbollah from seizing the country.
Israel & Peace Talks
The White House is desperately trying to re-start the peace process, but that pesky issue of Jewish construction of new settlements in the West Bank and Jerusalem remain a sticking point. The latest word we have is that Obama is seeking to have Netanyahu extend the temporary ban against construction for another six months. Our Israeli sources say that Netanyahu simply cannot do it without committing political suicide. His base of supporters will simply not tolerate another broken promise.
Iran’s Nukes
Over the weekend, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham gave a speech to the Halifax International Forum in which he advocated a sustained military campaign might be necessary if Iran fails to negotiate and halt its nuclear program. Graham advocated an international military campaign to sink Iran’s navy, destroy its air force and the Revolutionary Guard, so that the Iranian people could take control of the dictatorial regime now in charge. There’s more to this speech than meets the eye, and we’ll have more on this in the next A-O Intelligence Digest.
Keep in mind that there are now 3 aircraft carriers steaming off the shores of Iran along with a U.S. amphibious carrier. Debka.com is running a report that suggests this build up of naval forces could be a signal for impending military action against Iran. We seriously doubt Debka’s insinuations, unless of course some unforeseen development sparks a shooting war.
Debka also reports that NATO is to be part of any future military action against Iran. We had already reported on this from our prior contacts some time ago. There has been resistance within certain NATO member countries opposed to any such action, but the opposition seems to be melting with each new development from Iran suggesting that Iran may be a threat to EU and NATO members. Even so, there are tell-tale signs that NATO members will indeed join in such an effort. One clear example is the French nuclear aircraft carrier, the Charles de Gaulle now steaming near Iran with 2 other U.S. carriers.
I know some A-O readers complain every time we mention Debka, claiming that Debka is the equivalent of a tabloid newspaper reporting on aliens visiting the White House. This is far from true. Debka is fairly reliable as an intelligence source and is still widely read by folks in the Pentagon and the U.S. intelligence communities, who take Debka seriously. However, its best to keep in mind that Debka can be an outlet for dis-information from the Israeli government and or other intelligence agencies who will leak false information to Debka in order to further their own agenda.
Therefore, when we cite Debka, its usually in the context (though not always) that we have corroborating information to confirm Debka. Sometimes however we’ll note the opposite in which our sources counter Debka reports. All in all, more often than not, when Debka reports on something, it is wise to at least give it some consideration if not great consideration, depending on circumstances.
Seismic Activity Increases
In our Weekly Round Up this week, we posted a link to a Google-based map showing all of the world’s active volcanoes. If you overlooked this map, you really should take a look at it. At the link you’ll see a map with little symbols showing all the active volcanoes around the world. In a left-hand panel you’ll find additional information on each volcano with its location and status. What I want to point out is how we’ve seen a sudden and dramatic increase in volcanic activity in the past month, particularly in Indonesia where 21 volcanoes are now being identified as “active” and or erupting. Mount Merapi is undergoing its greatest activity in more than 100 years and some experts believe it is going to get worse
UFO Activity
We normally do not report much on UFO activity these days. Mainstream media is primarily ignoring most reports and it is often hard for A-O to provide links to what we consider to be reputable or mainstream sources for such reports. We had recently reported on waves of UFO activity reported over China, but waves of reports are occurring world-wide. We did mention UFO reports over New York City, but reports are happening all around the world now in repeated waves of sightings. Some of these are probably explainable as natural phenomena but many are not so explainable. The increased UFO activity, combined with increased seismic activity and increasing solar disturbances should all be viewed from a composite perspective. In doing so, it gives us pause to consider any inter-relationships between these developments. We’ll not venture to guess, but simply suggest you make a note of it all and set it aside for future consideration should developments warrant.
CONCLUSION
That's it for my comments on events of the past week. I will post similar comments as needed on a weekly or monthly basis - depending on how events unfold. So don't be surprised to see "From the Publisher's Desk" more often than in the past. Until next time, may the Lord bless and keep you.
