Editor's Note: You may have noticed some slight appearance changes to the website. This is due to our new software upgrade. The upgrade is still in progress but the biggest chunk of the project has been completed. We're still working on the E-mail News Alerts and Newsletter upgrade and hope to have it ready and functioning within the next couple of days. It will be focusing on late developments in the Mideast and a fascinating look at the USA's upcoming midterm elections.

Russia May Sell Air Defenses
To Venezuela Instead of Iran

Those S-300 air defense missiles sytems originally slated for sale to Iran may instead be sold to Venezuela according to a report in the Tehran Times. This leaves us to wonder if Venezuela would then turn around and sell the systems to Iran as a middleman. For the Tehran Times news story,  LINK HERE.
