According to our intelligence contacts, the situation is very tense at the moment. Right now, our intelligence sources report a drought in developments - indicating all the key players are very tight-lipped and keeping things on the private side. I would not be surprised in the least to wake up one morning this week to discover that war has broken out along Israel's northern border with Lebanon. An Iranian lawmaker boldy announced over the weekend that his nation is ready for a confrontation with Israel. Vice-Chairman of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Ebrahimi told the Iranian Fars News Agency that: "In case of a military attack by the Zionist regime on our country, Iran will confront the occupying regime (Israel) with maximum force and power."
