Late Breaking:

A new round of rocket attacks were launched on Monday against the southern Israeli resort city of Eilat as well as the Jordanian city of Aqaba. Both cities are on the southern coastline of the Red Sea.

The rockets are thought to have been launched from the Sinai Peninsula and not not from the Gaza Strip which is controlled by Hamas. Preliminary suggestions are the rockets were launched by a splinter-terror group operating in the Sinai and supported by Iran

After the attack, Israeli Prime Minister spoke by phone with Jordan's King Abdullah and Egypt's President Mubarak to discuss the situation. The incident is the first of its kind against the Israeli port city of Eilat and its Jordanian counterpart city of Aqaba.
