Israel's Prime Minister is reported to be nearly desperate in attempts to persuade Palestinian Authority Chairman Abbas to agree on holding direct talks with Israel befoer Netanyahu meets with President Obama this week.

Iran has supplied Syria with a new, sophisticated radar system capable of monitoring all air traffic over Israel. The system will enable Syria and Iran to monitor Israeli Air Force activity for any signs of an impending air strike on Iran by Israel. More details, LINK HERE.

Florida Keys & Miami
NOAA, the U.S. federal agency in charge of studying weather and oceans has published a report on the effects of the runaway oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. Among the many aspects of the report are projections for oil contamination of America's coastlines.
The report indicates that in the months ahead, oil contamination may reach around Florida to the eastern coastline of Florida, threatening the Florida Keys and the famous beaches of Miami. More on this story, LINK HERE.
