Editor's Note: The more we learn about this situation the more it reminds us of prophecies in Revelation chapters 8 and 16 concerning the death of Seas. Due to the gravity of the situation and the volume of information out on the web, we're separating this news from our regular weekly news updates, at last for now. Keep in mind that there is a lot of wild rumor and speculation abounding on the web.

British Petroleum has now admitted that the runaway oil well may be unleashing as much as 100,000 barrels of oil per day instead of as little as 1,000 barrels per day as was its original, public estimate just after the well exploded on April 20, 2010.
The oil company officials have continually maintained much lower estimates than have other oil industry experts and scientists. In fact, some experts fear that as much as a quarter of a million to one half million barrels of oil may be gushing daily from the leaking well.
The company now maintains that their estimate is only a 'worst-case' estimate and in reality may be far less than 100,000 barrels per day. More details, LINK HERE.

Cracks in Sea Floor Suggest
Greater Problems Ahead
Florida Senator Bill Nelson, a former NASA astronaut, expressed his concerns to MSNBC News after receiving confidential reports suggesting new evidence of cracks in the floor structure of the Gulf of Mexico and additional leakage of oil through these cracks. More details, LINK HERE.
An A-O Report note: From what we've been able to gather, if such cracks are spreading, some geologists fear major cataclysmic developments could unfold creating an apocalyptic event of biblical proportions. Here at A-O, we're conducting our own investigation into such claims and possibilities and hope to further report with either confirmation or denial of such claims. Our preliminary assessment suggests the possibility that such concerns may have some validity and could potentially relate to elements within Biblical Prophecy. We'll keep our readers posted as soon as we're able to draw at least more definite conclusions.

7 Miles Away
Matthew Simmons is sticking by his story that there's another giant leak in the Gulf of Mexico blowing massive amounts of oil into the Gulf of Mexico.
On CNBC's Fast Money, he says he'd be surprised if BP lasted this summer, saying this is disaster is entirely BP's fault.
Simmons has been all over cable news lately -- yesterday he descirbed to Dylan Ratigan how the next nightmare will be when a Hurricane picks up the oil and paints the Gulf Coast region black. Deadly Methane Gas Dangers

Methane Gas Bubbles
There is an overlooked danger in the Gulf oil spill crisis and it's a danger that neither CNN, FOX or the other TV News Networks have failed to report. The crude gushing from the well contains vast amounts of natural gas that could pose a serious threat to the Gulf of Mexico's fragile ecosystem.
The oil emanating from the seafloor contains about 40 percent methane, compared with about 5 percent found in typical oil deposits, said John Kessler, a Texas A&M University oceanographer who is studying the impact of methane from the spill.
That means huge quantities of methane have entered the Gulf, scientists say, potentially suffocating marine life and creating "dead zones" where oxygen is so depleted that nothing lives.
"This is the most vigorous methane eruption in modern human history," Kessler said. More - LINK HERE.

A U.S. scientist has warned the impact of methane gas, erupted from undersea of the Gulf of Mexico, on the seawater and the earth's atmosphere.
"There are huge quantities of methane gas that are mixed in with oil spewing up from the seafloor," said John Kessler, assistant professor in the Department of Oceanography of Texas A&M University who specializes in ocean chemistry.
"The mixture coming up is now about 40 percent methane and 60 percent oil from undersea of the Gulf of Mexico," Kessler explained in an exclusive interview with Xinhua. "This means there are immense amounts of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, being input into the Gulf."
Kessler said that the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, while no doubt an environmental and economic disaster to much of the Gulf Coast, has been focus of criticism, but the eruption of methane gas has been ignored.
"We know that millions of years ago, there were vast undersea eruptions where methane gas escaped just like it is doing right now," he adds. "It is thought that this methane eventually contributed to climate change millions of years ago, so this gives us a chance to study the methane from that perspective as we measure how much is entering the atmosphere today." = More - LINK HERE.

In Gulf of Mexico
Gulf catastrophe is not over. In fact, it may not even have begun. According to science reporter/writer, Richard C Hoagland, very credible inside sources in BP and in U.S. government say there is a bubble under the Gulf of Mexico floor, something of 15 to 20 miles across and 10's of feet high, according to data. There is a gas bubble around the wellhead of the Deepwater Horizon. That's why they have not capped the well.
Hoagland think's the worse case scenario is, at some point, you could have the most horrendous gas explosion 50 miles off the Louisiana coast, that you can imagine. What that would do is create a cloud of toxic material, which would then drift with the winds over the shore, where there are millions of people. The next step is you would get a tsunami, moving at 400 to 600 miles an hour, slamming most likely into Florida.
You can listen to an audio recording of Hoagland discussing this subject during a radio interview on the nationally syndicated radio show, "Coast-to-Coast AM" at the LINK HERE. Scroll down to the large boxes containing YouTube video links which have two different box segments containing the audio clips with Hoagland. Just click the boxes to listen. At this time, The A-O Report cannot confirm nor deny such rumors although we've been continually investigating such seemingly wild rumors.
While we're skeptical about such reports, we cannot rule out Hoagland's assertions at this time. For that reason we pass it along to you, just in case.

Holds 50 Million Barrels of Oil
It is important to note that while BP gives an estimate of 50 million barrels, many geologists believe the entire Gulf of Mexico's oil fields aer interconnected at the depth of the Deepwater Horizon oil well, so BP's numbers pale in comparison. Some estimate the Gulf has more oil than the entire Middle East combined. Our point here is that many believe the connectivity of the Gulf oil field means it could spell danger in the event of a Methane gas explosion above the water's surface. More details on estimates -LINK HERE.
