Proposal Again to Outlaw Vitamins
Hidden in Wall Street Reform Legislation
The notorious, if not totally obnoxious, Henry Waxman, a Democratic Congressman from California continues to act like a snake instead of as a public servant by once again offering new legislation that would outlaw over-the-counter vitamins in America.
His proposal is part of an effort by the "Pharmakeia" of Babylon's mega-merchants to deceive and deprive Americans of inexpensive nutrients. Yes, such a law underscores Revelation 18:23 and the latter half of the verse which states:
"for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived"
The term "sorceries" is the Greek word "pharmakeia." It is the word from which English derives the terms: pharmacy and pharmaceuticals, although the original Greek word conveys far more then its English derivative term. It is a boader term for chemicals and medicine, and medical practices (but not lmited to those elements) as related to witchcraft and occult practices.
The term seems particularly suited for Henry Waxman's proposed law to outlaw the sale of over-the-counter vitamins. Why? The pharmaceutical industry has been lobbying for such a law so that they can manufacture vitamins for a much greater profit and at the same time keep vitamins from replacing their costly chemical creations as cures for many diseases.
This is not the first time such a law has been proposed. It has been proposed in at least each of the last two Congresses. The last Congress almost passed the measure, but was derailed at the last moment by a public outcry to lawmakers.
So how is it that we face the same problem once again?
While no one was looking, Henry Waxman injected amendment language into the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009 (H.R. 4173) that would expand the powers of the FTC (not the FDA, but the FTC) to terrorize nutritional supplement companies by greatly expanding the power of the FTC to make its own laws that target dietary supplement companies.
This is a little-known secret about the FTC and the nutritional supplements business: The FTC routinely targets nutritional supplement companies that are merely telling the truth about their products. Some companies are threatened by merely linking to published scientific studies about their products. There is much more to this story than we can relate here. You're strongly encouraged to read more about this problem at the article, LINKED HERE.
