Israeli troops clashed with Palestinian stone-throwers at two contested holy sites and in a West Bank village Friday, seriously injuring a Palestinian woman and a 14-year-old boy, officials and witnesses said.
At the Jerusalem shrine, home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, hundreds of Muslim worshippers emerging from prayers threw stones at policemen and Jews praying below at the Jewish shrine known as the Western Wall, according to Israeli police.
Riot police carrying plexiglass shields rushed in, firing tear gas and stun grenades, and charged the youths throwing stones amid the compound's stone buildings and cypress trees.
It was one of the most violent clashes in several years at the site, known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary.
Friday's events were sparked, in part, by rising anger over Israel's decision to add two West Bank shrines to its list of national heritage sites. More story details, LINK HERE.

Mideast War in Very Near Future
Egypt is concerned Israel could be in a conflict in the very near future with Syria or the Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon, a senior Egyptian security official told WND.
The security official said in any future war with Syria or Hezbollah, both actors have been preparing to storm the Israeli border with guerillas and commandos, an act unseen here since the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the last conflict in which Syria was openly involved.
In previous conflicts with Hezbollah, the terrorist group fired rockets into Israel.
In addition, the security official said Syria has separately been contemplating launching low-grade attacks against Jewish communities
in the Golan Heights to pressure Israel into negotiations aimed at relinquishing the strategic territory.
The official said his country is concerned about a coming conflict but did not mention a specific timeframe.
"It's possible either side may misinterpret moves and launch the opening salvo very soon," he said.

Hamas Is Losing Control
Over The Gaza Strip
Ahmed Ja’abri, commander of Hamas' armed wing, Izaddin al-Kassam, recently sent an urgent letter to Hamas leader in Damascus Khaled Masha’al, warning that the situation in the Gaza Strip was “deteriorating,” and that Hamas has started losing control over the territory, London-based Arab-language newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported on Saturday morning.
The letter was reportedly written in light of a series of assassinations and explosions near the offices of senior Izaddin a-Kassam commanders and of Hamas prime minister Ismail Haniyeh. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
According to the report, Ja’abri wrote Mahsa’al that “several worrisome explosions recently occurred in Gaza, security anarchy is extensive, and al-Kassam men are being killed.”
Ja’abri also reportedly admits that Hamas has made a number of serious mistakes in ruling the strip.
The paper quoted Palestinian sources as saying that Hamas operatives who oppose Haniyeh were behind the attacks. Others suggested that the explosions were carried out by fundamentalist Islamic jihad groups.

That They Will Secretly Support
An Israeli Strike on Iran
An Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities would be quietly supported by a wide coalition of Islamic nations, including a number of extremist states, Deputy Minister of the Negev and Galilee Ayoub Kara said Saturday.
Kara, speaking at a Beersheba event, said that though none of them would admit to it publicly, Islamic nations had conveyed messages to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that they would back military action against Iran by Israel and the US.
Kara said that Israel would strike "if there is no option."
Western countries have drafted a weakened fourth set of sanctions against the Islamic Republic. Under pressure from Russia and China, the nations will not tighten the ban on trade between Western banks and the Central Bank of Iran (CBI). Diplomats at the United Nations were quoted as saying that the United States, Britain, France and Germany accepted Russia’s proposal that the West only ban trading with newly-established Iranian banks, and not increase existing trade limitations with the CBI.

After U.S. Congressional Vote
Condeming Turkey for Genocide
Turkey has recalled its ambassador to the United States after a House committee voted to approve a resolution that labels as genocide the killing of ethnic Armenians by Ottoman Turks following WW 1. While this may seem like old history, the Democratic Party has made it an explosive issue of principle and a way of garnering campaign cash from the American-Armenian community.
The government of Turkey considers such legislation to be a major insult to the Turkish people and should the Democrats press on with the legislation, the measure could lead to a major deterioration in relations between the two countries, perhaps even a suspension in diplomatic relations. Turkey may well cut off, much or all of its military cooperation with the United States and complicate US military operations in Afghanistan.
Keep in mind, that Turkey is prophesied in Ezekiel to be a major factor in the Magog War with Israel. For more on this story, LINK HERE.

Pakistan Catches American Al Qaeda?
Conflicting Report Emerge
There are conflicting reports that Pakistan has arrested the notorious American Al Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn. It is the latest in a string of Pakistani arrests of Al Qaeda and Taliban leaders. Recently, Pakistani agents arrested the Taliban's top field commander for Afghanistan.
Gadahn, has been a spokesman for more than a half dozen Al Qaeda videos where he taunts and threatens the West and calls for the destruction of western society. Shortly after Pakistan reported his arrest, a US official told CNN that there was no indication that Gadahn had been arrested. Other US officials also concurred that no proof had yet been presented to American authorities that Gadahn had been captured.
