(A-O Newswire) -- Believe it or not, Washington, D.C. could get another Snowmageddon this week. That's right, America's capital city could see a repeat of last weekend's Blizzard for the record books.

Yet another winter storm has barrelled through America's heartland and is now heading for the mid-Atlantic coastline bringing as much as 14 or more inches of snow to the only city in the world that was designed to be an open-air temple to the Mother of the Harlots, the "goddess of Freedom" - aka "Ishtar."The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for northern Virginia and the state of Maryland, including Washington and Baltimore. The warning is effective for 31 hours, from noon Tuesday until 7pm on Wednesday. The NWS is forecasting an additional 10 to 20 inches of snow. When its all said and done, some areas might have as much as 50 inches of accumlated snow on the ground. That amounts to as much as 4 feet of snow in some areas.Scientists blame the abnormal storms to a unique El Nino that has developed over the Pacific Ocean and affected the ever-influential "Jet Stream."

This storm track will differ slightly in that it is also expected to dump a foot of snow on New York City and a foot and a half in Philadelphia.

The airline industry has been heavily impacted as airports in the region were shut down for as much as two or three days and some airports only re-opened on Monday giving airlines only a day to try and evacuate stranded travelers before a new storm rolls in again halting air traffic indefinitely. For more on the airline problem, .

The Federal government had essentially shut down on Monday in Washington because the city was simply unable to effectively clear the streets of nearly 30 inches and more snowfall from the weekend. The idea was for the Federal government to re-open after having shutdown early on Friday morning. Keep in mind however, that many lawmakers and key government officials had left Washington earlier in the week and headed for Miami, Florida for the week of Super-bowl festivities. This new snow storm is likely to shut the city down for most of this week.

Ironically, the Federal Government's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was busy on Monday trying to make an announcment that is was opening a new office that would give business and individuals research information about Climate Change and Global Warming and how it impacts on people's every day lives. Believe it or not, this new office will give details on how Global Warming will bring about a rise in sea levels, longer growing seasons, changes in river flows, heavier rainfall, earlier snow-melts and extended ice-free seasons. No, we're not kidding on this one. See LINK HERE.

In another irony, the Senate cancelled a "Global Warming Hearing scheduled for Tuesday. LINK HERE for details.

Apparently the Federal Government bureaucracy still hasn't caught on, that the scientiests who "proved" the reality of the Global Warming Theory" did so with deliberately "rigged" and "fraudulent" research that is only now being investigated for criminal behavior. Never-mind the fact that the latest data shows that global warming halted more than 10 years ago and we've been in a new cooling trend - an indication that Global Warming is/was not a man-made problem. So when will it stop? Check out this LINK HERE.
