A snowstorm swept across the southern United States over the weekend, suggesting that Global Warming is something of a myth.  For our international readers, the snow in the sourthern United States is unusual, but particularly when it's not yet winter.

Houston was socked with an all-time-record earliest snowfall ever. The prior record was just set last year on Dec 10. This year, the reocrd was set on December 4. Houston has only seen snow a few dozen times since the Civil War, so a snow storm in early December raises eyebrows, especially amid politicians claims of "global warming" and an emerging scandal indicating a conspiracy among some scientists to fraudulently claim "global warming" is a fact, not a theory.

The first major winter storm of the season began in Texas late in the week and quickly swept northeastward across the southern tier of states before moving over Washington, D.C. and then upwards into New York, Boston and New England. The storm will also sweep into Canada's Atlantic seabord region.

Snow is also causing havoc across much of America's Midwest region from the Mississippi Valley region eastward. In the western US new snow is also causing problems in America's northwest region as well as in the intermountain states of Nevada and Utah.

Forecasters now think December could be the coldest in the past 10 years and at least a few forecasters think the entire winter will be colder than normal and perhaps the coldes in 10 to 20 years.

The fight over global warming science is about to cross the Atlantic with a U.S. researcher poised to sue NASA, demanding release of the same kind of climate data that has landed a leading British center in hot water over charges it skewed its data.

Chris Horner, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, said NASA has refused for two years to provide information under the Freedom of Information Act that would show how the agency has shaped its climate data and would explain why the agency has repeatedly had to correct its data going as far back as the 1930s.  Read the full story, LINK HERE.

Last month, AirTran Airways Flight 297 with over 70 passengers on board was taxiing down the runway when a passenger reportedly refused to turn off his cell phone. After repeated attempts to have the passenger end the phone conversation, the captain returned to the gate, resulting in a 2 1/2 hour delay of the flight.

When the news story appeared online, comments included the text of an email from a man claiming to have been a passenger on the flight gave a very different account of what took place. We’ve attempted to contact individuals mentioned in the articles below, however none have responded to our requests, as of  this writing.

Google is making changes to its news coverage as part of a general attempt by mainstream news media to restrict free access to news websites.
