Iranian Lawmakers Reject
UN Compromise Deal
Iranian lawmakers signalled on Saturday that Iran would not accept the UN compromise to ship out uranium for enhanced enrichment. A UN proposal requires Iran to ship out 70% of its low-enriched uranium to Russia and France for processing into more highly enriched medical-grade uranium for Tehran's medical reactor as part of a cancer dure program.

Iran Rejects New Option
To Send Uranium to Turkey

Iran Nuke Talks Could
Fail In Final Week
ABC News Reports:
In Tehran and Washington, expectations are dim for a deal on the IAEA nuclear proposal that would have Iran export its low-enriched uranium for processing, easing global fears over its nuclear program. US officials have suggested there is just one week left for Iran to respond before a hard push for new international sanctions; in the past few weeks both the US House and Senate have passed legislation toward unilateral sanctions that would punish foreign companies that sell refined gasoline to Iran.
Ever since the nuclear fuel swap proposal was hammered out in Vienna, Iran has sent mixed messages, at best. On Saturday, a conservative Iranian MP ruled out sending uranium abroad, then on Sunday another prominent MP said the deal was still on the table. The equivocating is a sign of no clear decision from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei; any indication that he wants a deal would shut down the internal bickering. To the contrary, Khamenei’s remarks last Tuesday, bashing the Obama administration, seemed to augur poorly for better ties with Washington.
Western officials and analysts interpret the noise from Iran as a sign that the regime either doesn’t know what it wants, or that wants to keep its uranium stockpile and relations with America as is. For more on this story, LINK HERE.

Iran Tested Advanced
Nuke Warhead Design
UN Watchdog Wants Answers
The IAEA, a UN nuclear watchdog agency wants answers from Iran on new evidence that Iran has tested an advanced nuclear missile warhead design.
The agency wants an explanation as to why Iran would be experimenting with nuclear missile warhead designs if its nuclear program was purely for peaceful purposes.
The particular missile technology known as a 'two-point implosion" device is a very advanced type of missile warhead development and reportedly has been develooped and tested by Iranian scientists. Nuclear experts report the Iranian development as a"breathtaking" - adding new urgency to the quest for a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear weapons program.
This "two-point implosion" device, once it is mastered allows for the production fo smaller an dsimpler warheads than with older, less streamline models. It reduces the diameter of the warhead and makes it easier to put a nuclear warhead onto a missile.
The IAEA has firm documented proof that Iran has tested such a design and is part of a growing mountain of documentation that Iran is indeed actively and speedily working on developing a nuclear missile warhead. The IAEA has a special file titled: Possible Military Dimensions of Iran's Nuclear Program" part of which is enhanced by evidence presented to the agency by Western intelligence agencies.
One European government advisor on nuclear issues commented on the IAEA's latest evidence on two-point implosion, saying: "It is breathtaking that Iran could be working on this sort of material."
James Acton, a British nuclear weapons expert at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace noted that: "It's remarkable, that before perfecting step one, they are going straight to step four or five...To start with more sophisticated designs speaks of a lvel of technical ambition that is surprising."
Another western expert with extensive knowledge of the Iranian nuclear program stated: "it raises the question of who supplied this to them. Did AQ Khan (a Pakistian scientist known to have passed on nuke information) have access to this, or is it another player?"

Pivotal Moment For Iran
US Tells Iran:
Accept UN Compromis As Is
No Alternative Changes Permitted
U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton told Iran this week that no alternative proposals from Iran would be acceptable. Iran must accept the UN compromise as is. The UN Compromise was proposed on October 21 and Iran has yet to give a definitive answer ten days past the deadline.
Clinton stated; "This is a pivotal moment for Iran. We urge Iran to accept the agreement as proposed and we will not alter it and we will not wait forever."
The UN proposal would recquire Iran to ship 75% of its enriched uranium to Russia and France for further enrichment processing into medical-grade uranium isotopes for a medical reactor in Tehran that conducts cancer treatments. It must do so by the end of the year.
On Monday, an Iranian diplomat said that additional talks were needed and that Iran wants to import atomic fuel rather than send its own uranium abroad for processing. More details - LINK HERE.
