Obama Prepared To Cede
US Sovereignty To Global Gov't
At Copenhagen Climate Summit
A former British official warns that the upcoming Global Climate Summit to be held in Copenhage this December is intended to establish a new global government to which President Obama will cede US sovereignty. Lord Monckton, a former science advisor to the British government spoke last week in St. Paul, Minnesota to a college audience that the Copenhagen Summit is intended to establish a world government.
Despite Monckton's claims, media reports suggset that the Climate Summit is bogged down in disputes that may cancel the Summit despite ongoing negotiations to resolve key differences. Red China and India are opposed to certain, key measures. For more on Lord Monckton's claims, LINK HERE.

World Climate Summit
May Collapse & Not Meet
In Copenhagen This December
Obama Urged To Attend Summit To Save Event
Britain's Secretary of Energy and Climate Change, Ed Miliband says that President Obama must intervene personally to rescue a proposed global treaty on climate change. Miliband believes that there is a much greater chance that the global climate treaty can be enacted if President Obama travels to Copenhagen in December to lead the US delegation at the UN conference.
Britain's Prime Minister Brown has indicated his intention to attend the Global Climate Summit but the rest of the world's leaders have not yet committed to attending the December event. The White House remains uncommitted on Obama's presence at the event, though the British challenge will add pressure for the President's attendance. The president may simply feel unable to attend if his healthcare reform bill is still locked in Congressional wrangling.
The president faces another problem regarding attendance. Congress is still wrangling with sweeping legislation to meet the Summit's Global Warming proposals. The Congressional legislation, often referred to as the "Cap and Trade" bill is locked in a debate between the House version and the Senate version and the legislation remains pending final approval while precedence is now given to the US healthcare legislation. This explains, in part, the President's insistence on speeding up the legislation on both legislative issues.
At present however, key nations such as China and India especially argue that they should be exempt from stricter environmental regulations because of the legislation's economic factors that could deal a blow to their economies and national security.
The Global Summit is scheduled to meet in Copenhagen, Denmark from December 7 through the 18th, with 190 countries participating. The primary focus of the treaty is to reduce global carbon emissions by two degrees centigrade in the next ten years.
Some critics have accused the effort as an attempt to establish a new form of global government. For more details on this story, LINK HERE.

NASA Scientist Says:
World Won't End in 2012
-
Despite Hollywood Movie's Claims
A NASA scientist has stepped forward to condemn a new Hollywood movie that suggests the world will come to an end in 2012. The movie's title is simply: "2012."
The movie's producers, backed by Sony Pictures have set up an elaborate "viral" marketing program that suggests leading scientists believe the world will experience violent turmoil in 2012. The movie theme is based on the notion that the Mayan calendar predicted the end of the world would occur on December 21, 2012. The movie also presents the idea that "aliens" - known as "The Shining Ones" will rescue humanity during that time.
The movie promises to be a blockbuster event, with a massive production budget and remarkable special effects much like the movies "Independence Day" (1996) and "The Day After Tomorrow." (2004)
The depth and scope of the movie's promotional efforts has prompted concern from Dr David Morrison, a senior scientist at Nasa's Astrobiology Institute. Morisson says he has received more than 1,000 inquiries from worried members of the public including teenagers who say that they'd rather commit suicide than witness the end of the world. Dr. Morrison charges that a promotional website for the movie was "ethically wrong" in promoting the movie in such a manner.
