Israel Cancelled July Airstrikes on Iran

-
An Israeli newspaper cites a Kuwaiti newspaper report that quotes a U.S. official in Jerusalem stating that Israel asked the Obama White House for a 'green light' to attack Iran in July during Iran's post-election riots.
The newspaper report notes that the Obama Administration ignored the request and that the Israeli government backed down. This story confirms our A-O Intelligece Digest Report coverage back in July when we first brought you the startling news as a piece of intelligence. Until now, there had been no follow up confirmation from any mainstream media outlets.
In addition to the cancellation report, the A-O Digest also reported that the White House would dispatch a team of State Department and US Pentagon officials to Jerusalem for consultations on potential US military action against Iran's nuclear facilities along with a request that Israel let the Obama Administration take responsibility for halting iran's nuclear program by either diplomacy or military action.
Those reports inidicate that President Obama will likely order a strike within the next 12 months once a new giant, bunker-buster bomb now under development is ready for deployment by next July if Iran has not caved in and halted its nuclear program. The White House believes that US intelligence is more accurate than that of Israel or Germany and concludes that Iran will not likely develope a nuclear weapon for at least another year if not two or three years.
