Netanyahu Buckles To Obama
Gives Up W. Bank Security
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has buckled somewhat under intense pressure from the Obama White House. Netanyahu has agreed to ease up security in the West Bank by reducing IDF security check point stations and start allowing Palestinians to travel freely from town to town in the West Bank without military checkpoints and inspections.
The Israeli leader agreed to this pull-back of security to appease the president but for now, but the pressure for halting additional Jewish settlement construction in the West Bank and Jerusalem continues to increase. Netanyahu visited Europe this past week hoping to garner some support from Italian and French leaders with his gesture on security but those leaders had been arm-twisted the day before by President Obama in phone calls. Italy's PM Berlusconi and France's President Sarkozy suddenly turned a cold shoulder towards Netanyahu's lament over White House demands on settlement freezes and settlement pullouts.
President Obama is determined to force Israel to follow his orders as Obama attempts to set up new peace negotiations with the Palestinians. More N. Korea Tantrum Warnings
"Fire Showers" Nuclear - yada, yada,
It's becoming a boring routine. I'd reckon it to a broken record, but our younger readers might not be able to relate to the broken record metaphor in these days of I-pods and MP3 players. At any rate, yet another dire threat of nuclear devastation from a nation that barely knows how to conduct a test let alone shrink it down onto a missile or an airplane. For more details, LINK HERE.
