To Be Revealed In June?

(AO Newswire) -- IGN, an Italian newspaper has published a report stating that the head of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church will announce that his church possesses the “Ark of the Covenant.”

The Italian newspaper states that Patriarch Abuno Paulos ,Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and Archbishop of Axum indicated that the time has come to reveal the existence of the most sought after archaeological relic in human history, the Ark of the Covenant, which once rested inside the Holy of Holies in Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem.

According to the newspaper account, the Patriarch will make a formal announcement, acknowledging the existence of the Ark at a hotel in Rome but the article’s translation is very difficult to understand using Babelfish-google. It is unclear whether or not the presentation of such information will take place on Friday, June 26 or if it was to take place on June 19.

The article’s source was from an interview with the Ethiopian Patriarch who is one of the 7 presidents of the World Council of Chuches.
According to the translation of the article, it seems that the Patriarch was to have met the Pope last Thursday (6/18) in which the Pope was to inquire about the Ark and the Patriarch said he would respond with the truth that it was in the custody of his church. The article then states that a formal press conference would be held “next Friday.” Here’s the rough translation of the critical sentence.

 “The official announcement that the Etopia will deliver to the world the keys of the secret millenarian of Arca, will come given to next friday in the course of a press conference to the 14 to the Aldrovandi Hotel to Rome from the same orthodox Patriarch of Ethiopia, with to prince Aklile Berhan Makonnen You have them Selassie, and to duca the Amedeo Of Aosta, that it will be to Rome already tomorrow morning.”

It’s not clear if the newspaper was referring to Friday, June 19 or Friday, June 26. The last part of the sentence suggests, June 19. Keep in mind, the story shows a last modification of June 18 at 11:08 am (Italian time).

IF this story is true, then the event has been completely hushed up by mainstream news media. In fact, this newspaper is the only website with such information – per a Google news search.

Due to the confusion, there is some doubt as to the authenticity of this story, particularly as we post this information on June 21 and have no other corroborating online news sources discussing the subject. Had the event taken place on Friday, the 19th, it is hard to believe that mainstream news media outlets around the world avoided its mention. Therefore, the credibility of the story is very suspicious, yet perhaps with the bad translation we misunderstood the date for the conference.

Should this story prove to be true and a conference is held and the news media does pick up on the story on June 26, it should produce quite a splash in the news media. We’ll just have to wait and see.

It may well be that this Italian publication has the journalistic integrity of the sleazy "tabloid" newspapers, as we have no knowledge of its journalistic integrity. The fact that no other news outlet in Europe picked up on the story raises our suspicions, but we're making a note of it, anyway, just in case this story is valid.

 

Prophetic Implications (IF TRUE)

The sudden revelation and exposure of the Ark of the Covenant could trigger a renewed outcry from orthodox Jews for the rebuilding of the Temple and those of you familiar with Biblical prophecy recognize what such a development would bring with it.

Such a revelation could well mean we are indeed extremely close to the beginning of the prophecies of Revelation and the Old Testament prophecies.
