Israeli Air Force Ready
To Deal With Iran
Israel's Air Force commander, Maj. Gen Ido Nehushtan has told a German magazine, Der Spiegel, that the Israeli Air Force is "ready to do whatever is demanded of us" in order to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. The general also noted that the decision for a military strike is a political question and not something for the Israeli military to decide. The general also stated that as he understands it, "all options are on the table. The Air Force is a very robust and flexible force. We are ready to do whatever is demanded of us."
When asked by the paper whether the Israeli military was able to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities, which are spread around the country and partly located underground, Nehushtan said, "Please understand that I do not want to get into details. I can only say this: It is not a technical or logistical question." For more details on this story, check out the Jerusalem Post's coverage at the LINK HERE.
