CNBC, the Cable TV financial channel owned by the NBC Network interviewed a Wall Street analyst on Friday, October 24, 2008 as the stock markets tumbled again in chaos. The interview has been posted to the internet as a 6 minute clip. One of the analysts being interviewed was Jeff Saut, the Chief Investment Strategist for the Investment Banking firm of RAYMOND JAMES & Associates. This is a very high profile position. Mr. Saut makes a shocking statement in the video clip at about 3 minutes into the interview. Here below is the pertinent quote:
