Syria & Lebanon Establish
Formal Diplomatic Relations
First Time Since the 1940s
For the first time since WW2, Syria and Lebanon are establishing formal, diplomatic relations with each other. This move signals a sharp shift if the diplomatic structure of the Middle East.
Combine this new development with deteriorating relations between Syria and extremist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas and one gets the sense that there is some fundamental change occuring within Syria's leadership. Perhaps this is the case, but then again, perhaps not. French President's Bank Acc't Hacked
French President Nicolas Sarkozy has announced that his personal bank account was broken into by internet hackers and money from the account was stolen. Apparently the hackers obtained confidential account numbers and passwords and made regular withdrawals from the French leader's bank account without being discovered.
Sarkozy has been advocating major reforms to the world's financial system including a 1-world, global currency as well as a global government. The victimization of his personal identity will allow Sarkozy to advocate a move to an electronic currency merged with RFID chip implantation as a means of combatting fraud and identity theft.
