 US Refuses Aircraft Sale To Israel

 Fears Israel Would Use Them To Strike Iran

 Rumors are flying around Washington and Jerusalem that the US has decide not to sell aerial refueling tankers to Israel after Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak requested that America sell several Boeing 767 aerial refueling tankers to Israel.

 The Jerusalem Post is reporting on rumors of such a proposed sale being rejected amid fears that Israel would use the tankers for refueling Israeli aircraft in potential, future, airstrike operations against Iran's nuclear facilities. The Post says the rumors allege that the White House turned down the request as the Administration did not want Iran to think the US was aiding Israel.
