Editor's Note:  Because this is a short week due to America's Independence Day holiday, we anticipate a slow week for news after Thursday, July 3 with no need for a Weekly News Round Up on the holiday weekend. Because of this factor, and a sudden burst of news out of the Middle East concerning "war talk," A-O is posting the latest significant prophetic news developments for this subject on this page today. IF conditions warrant we will post similar pages on Wednesday and or Thursday, plus a shortened weekly round up of other news on Thursday also.

We're also working on reviewing subtle nuances in the Hebrew texts of Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39 related to the Magog Invasion of Israel to see if any current events are indicated in the nuances and if so, in what way. Depending upon what I discover, a relevant article will be published and it, too, may post during the holiday period. We're staying alert, while America celebrates.

The newswire article notes that Israel is keeping everyone guessing as to what Israel may or may not do about Iran's nuclear program. UN Report Ignores Hezbollah Violations

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is expected to submit on Tuesday morning the quarterly report on the implementation of UNSC Resolution 1701, which cemented the end of the Second Lebanon War. According to reports, the document does not accuse Hizbullah of violating the terms of the ceasefire, despite Israeli allegations that the Shi'ite militia has retaken its border positions and continues to amass rockets and other arms banned under 1701.
