Mohammed ElBaradei reveals in an Arab TV interview that Iran could create a nuclear weapon in as little as 6 months, although it might take up to a year.
Of course, the UN's top nuclear watchdog naively assumes that before Iran would start building such a bomb, it would exit out of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty first and therefore alert the world to its intentions to build a bomb. Iran Will Have Nuke ICBMS
Before US Has Missile Defense Shield
America's proposed missile shield in Europe is unlikely to be operational before Iran acquires inter-continental weapons, it has emerged.
The latest setback to hit the troubled project came after Defence Department experts refused to certify the interceptor missiles to shoot down an incoming threat because they had not been fully tested.
Washington had set a 2013 deadline to finish the system but defence experts believe the Pentagon will miss that date by up to five years.

White House May Open Up
Diplomatic Relations With Iran
The United States refuses to confirm reports about the possibility of opening an interests section in Teheran.
Fred Hiatt, a columnist with The Washington Post, wrote Monday that "senior officials" at the US State Department were considering a proposal to open such a section. Through this, the US would be able to reach out to youth groups and dissidents, without re-establishing diplomatic relations with Teheran, Hiatt quoted one of the officials as saying.
Hiatt further said the idea had been under discussion for almost two years and could be adopted within weeks.

Senator Warns:
US May Be Attacked In 2009
Is this a warning of another False Flag terror strike? Senator Joe Lieberman, appearing on the CBS TV show "Face The Nation" warned Sunday that the US might be vicitimized by a terror attack in 2009.
Lieberman warned that Al Qaeda tests a new president coming into office fairly early with a terror strike. It happened with Bill Clinton in 1993 and the World Trade Center bombing and again in 2001 with 9-11. Lieberman suspects it will happen again and he thinks that with the Republicans in power, America would be better prepared to deal with such an event.
The Senator's remarks are quite remarkable because Senator Lieberman has been a lifelong Democrat who was ousted by his party for the Democratic nomination of his Senate seat. He bolted the party, running as an independent and won re-election anyway. Since then, Lieberman has been a close ally of GOP Presidential nominee-in-waiting, Senator John McCain.

57% of US Evangelicals Believe
Jesus Is NOT the Only Way

A newly published religious survey of 35,000 Americans shows that 57% of Evangelical Christians believe that there are other ways to salvation and eternal life besides Jesus Christ. In other words, they reject Jesus' own claim, when He said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the father, but by me." John 14:6
In other words, 57% of Evangelical Christians reject the words of Jesus Christ. No doubt this 57% of Evangelicals means that they simply do not understand salvation and if that is so, they're NOT really saved and have eternal life. Why?
Salvation comes by 'grace' through faith alone in the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ and not by works of man. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Any other attempt by a human to be reconciled to God for eternal life involves 'works' of a human and human works or human effort of any kind means eternal death, not eternal life...as the Apostle Paul clearly teaches in both the book of Romans and the book of Galatians, especially Galatians 1:6-9. In those verses, Paul points out that any attempt to please God through the addition of works results in eternal damnation and Paul states this fact twice.
On this basis, we can safely conclude that most of Evangelical "Christians" in America are not saved and do not have eternal life, even though they claim to be Christians and attend church, take communion and are baptized. This survey is symptomatic of what is yet to come, the coming of the great "Apostasia" - where humanity will rebel against God and join the Satanic rebellion by embracing the Antichrist and his religious message.

A British newspaper is reporting that ice is disappearing at the North Pole so fast this summer may well be teh first time in human history that a boat could sail over the north pole. Scientists believe that there is a 50-50 chance that the North Pole may be ice-free this summer. The normally thick ice cap that is normally found at the north pole has been blown away and replaced by huge swathes of thinner ice formed over a single year. This thin ice layer is susceptible to summer melting and the recent satellite data shows that the rate of melting is faster than even last year, when there was an all-time loss of summer sea ice in the Arctic. Martian Soil Similar To Earth
NASA's Phoenix Probe lander has now begun reporting back on soil sample tests from Mars. The lander has taken soil samples for extensive testing and the results are showing dramatic similarity to soil found on Earth.
