A New York Times article last Friday, (6/20) quotes unnamed Pentagon officials as stating that the recent Israeli Air Force drills over the Mediterranean Sea were designed to send a signal to Iran that Israel was prepared to strike Iranian nuclear facilities if Iran continues to develop its nuclear program.

Iran continues to respond to news reports that Israel is preparing for war with Iran. On Saturday, an Iranian government spokesman called Israel a "dangerous regime."

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is now boasting that the West has failed to halt Iran's nuclear program. The fiery Iranian leader stated: "In the nuclear issue, the bullying powers have used up all their capabilities but could not break the will of the Iranian nation."
The Iranian leader's boasting taunt comes just days after Western nations tendered a new offer to end the crisis. The offer included a new package of technological and economic incentives in exchange for Iran's supspendion of its uranium enrichment processes. Israel's Grave New Threat From Hezbollah
A new Israeli intelligence report to the Prime Minister paints an ominous threat to Israel far greater than previously estimated. The new report concludes that Hezbollah now has "tens of thousands" of rockets and missiles, all safely buried in new underground bomb-proof shelters. Such an inventory, if unleashed against Israel could devastate the Jewish nation. Furthermore, Hezbollah has hardened its transportation system with tunnel roads and roads inside trenches reinforced with concrete walls to minimize damage from air attack. Israel's Prime Minister Olmert is desperate for some sort of peace deal to stave off his removal from office and or to at least achieve some legacy as 'peacemaker' before his departure from office. Canada-US Experts See Signals
Intelligence agencies in Canada and the United States are warning of mounting signs that the Lebanon-based guerilla group Hezbollah is planning to attack Jewish targets in retaliation for the assassination of top Hezbollah man Imad Mughniyah some six months ago, according ABC News.
Hezbollah has blamed Israel for the February 12 assassination in Damascus, but Israel has denied any involvement.

Euro Currency In Deep Trouble
The Euro currency is backed by various European central banks and each bank issues its own allotment of Euro notes. Bankers are noting that Euro notes issued by Central banks of Spain, Portugal and Italy for example are being exchanged for notes printed and backed by Germany's central bank because Germany's economy and banking system are perceived as being more secure than that of other nations issuing Euro notes.
The thought by the public seeking to exchange notes is that in a 'crash' the German-originated notes would retain value better than notes printed by other central banks. If this trend continues, it could very well collapse the EU's entire economic and financial system.
The point we draw from this is that the Euro is in no better shape than the US dollar or any other currency. Should we see a collapse of the world's stock and credit markets, a new economic system will have to be created. According to the Bilderberg and NWO planners, the new economic system will be an electronic currency - no paper, no coins. It will be fueled by RFID microchip plastic cards and or eventually RFID computer micro-chip implants into human beings.

Gov't Terrorizes Flood Victims Homes
It appears that some flood-stricken areas of the Midwest are experiencing the same sort of government terrorism that was promulgated on New Orleans residents after Hurricane Katrina.
Flood victims are being denied access to their homes after the flooding water have vanished, on the grounds of structural safety. Local and federal emergency agents apparently are conducting jackbooted style operations reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

US Floods Hit Food Prices
Consumers were warned to expect even sharper increases in global food prices after US officials said that some of the country’s best farmland was facing its worst flooding for 15 years. Agriculture officials and traders said the damage could push up worldwide corn and soyabean prices, which have spiralled in recent days as floods have swamped crops in parts of Iowa, the US’s biggest corn-producing state. The warning comes at a time when high food prices are already sparking protests across the developing world.

Kansas Wheat Harvest Underway
Toxic Disease Cuts Crop Yield
Just two days ago, Kansas wheat experts were forecasting a 26% yield increase for #2 Hard Red Winter Wheat harvests in 2008. That forecast was issued as delayed harvesting was finally beginning to move into high gear. However, as the wheat combines began harvesting a problem began to emerge. Farmers began to discover a toxic fungal disease in the wheat, reducing both yields and the quality of the wheat. The reason is due to excessive rainfall. The problem also exists in other wheat growing areas including wheat growing areas in Missouri and Oklahoma. It is not yet known if the problem exists in areas north of Kansas as the problem will not show up until the grain reaches maturity in the next week or two.
The fungal problems in Kansas will represent a total loss to Kansas wheat production of 1 to 2 percent instead of a 26% increase as had been expected. Eastern Kansas appears to be the hardest hit area, with yield losses running into the 40 to 50% range in some fields. That drop may be only the tip of the problem-iceberg though. Why?
Farmers who haul their grain to market storage facilities may find storage operators heavily penalizing them if their wheat has the fungus. Why? The grain is worth less if there is infection in the product. In fact, storage operators at grain elevators may reject a farmer's entire crop for fear the disease would contaminate the healthy grain already being stored. So it is possible that actual grain levels available for consumption may be far less than 1% or 2% decrease in Kansas Wheat. This is important because Kansas has traditionally been the number one source for #2 Hard Red Winter Wheat, which is THE grain used to make bread. Other wheat types are used for other baking purposes such as cakes, pie crusts and crackers. The jury is still out on overal USA's harvest of #2 Hard Red Winter Wheat, but it seems less likely that America's bread basket will be harvesting more of this type of wheat than last year.
