Lou Coombes

1957-2011

 

 

 

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the news of the passing of my late wife, Lou Coombes, who has gone to be with the Lord.

Lou was a partner with me in the writing and publishing of my 2 volume work: "America, The Babylon." She provided the encouragement that aided my research, the writing of the book and its publication as well as the subsequent nationwide, 22 city book tour. She also helped assist me with speaking at prophecy conferences and speaking engagements, making sure I was packed and fully equipped, forgetting nothing. She also helped provide insight and support for establishing The Alpha-Omega Report in 1998 and our continued website publishing. Lou's delightful wit and sense of humor helped me overcome obstacles, doubts and fears throughout our life together even as she suffered with a variety of medical problems in the past 10 years.

Without Lou's input and encouragement, I do not know if "The Alpha-Omega Report" website or all of my publications would have ever come into existence. The Lord used her to enable me ,to present to you, all the materials from this website as well as "America, The Babylon." To that end, I acknowledge her supportive role in what you have seen and read here at this website.

Lou also served the Lord in her own personal ministry as a hospital nurse for nearly 15 years. As a nurse, she witnessed to countless individuals not only with her words but also with her joyful spirit and sense of humor and optimism that often opened doors for witnessing and sharing the Gospel with others.

Lou passed away from a long battle with cancer and heart problems. She always held out the hope for our Lord's timely return before succumbing to a brutal form of cancer that slowly ravaged her body ,but not her spirit. She ran the race and fought the good fight, as the Apostle Paul termed the believer's life course. She is now at peace, without pain and suffering and in the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ  I do expect that we who are left here now will soon meet up with her as I do expect His imminent Return in short order.

I would ask for your prayerful support that the Alpha-Omega Report may continue to exist as I continue in the course that she and I began so many  years ago. The A-O Report is facing unprecedented financial pressures at this time. There are overdue bills once again, threatening to halt our publishing at a most critical moment in prophetic developments. I'm sure Lou would be gratified if reader donations to aid the continued publication of "The Alpha-Omega Report" could keep the website functioning in His service until His Return, perhaps yet this year. I certainly hope so.
