Middle East Meltdown in 2011?

In less than a dozen days, this year has already seen the meltdown of two Arab nations - Lebanon and Tunisia. Just following common sense and knowing the Lebanese situation, it was simply a matter of time before Lebanon's ongoing crisis ratcheted back into major crisis mode. What was less foreseeable was the collapse of the Tunisian government. The collapse in Tunisia was a long time in coming and the folks at the Wikileaks website would like partial credit for the collapse of government in Tunisia, as if this were a good development. At the moment, Tunisia remains in a chaotic state with no one really in charge. The chaos in Tunisia reminds us of the Illuminati motto: "Order out of Chaos" - meaning a New World Order.

In regards to Lebanon, the chaos has yet to hit the streets or become a civil war. Time will reveal how things unfold in Lebanon. The latest Lebanese crisis of course stems from the UN investigation into the 2005 assassination of Lebanon's Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Hezbollah is bound and determined to derail the UN actions but it will be to no avail. Already, the UN investigators have returned sealed indictments and more may yet follow. Hezbollah failed to halt this project and now it is out of Lebanon's hands and into the International Court of Justice at the Peace Palace of The Hague in the Netherlands. Hezbollah's attempt to thwart this international effort by seizing control of the Lebanese government and trying to cancel the proceedings will go nowhere. We wonder why Hezbollah is so eager to halt this process.

Alleged leaks from the process have claimed that the UN investigators uncovered hard evidence that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, along with Syria's President Assad were overseeing a conspiracy to assassinate the late Lebanese Prime Minister. Such claims could well create a geo-political earthquake in the Middle East and very possibly a war, IF, indeed such allegations are true, and, IF, the Court proceeds with issuing arrest warrants for Iran's Supreme Ayatollah and Syria's President Assad.

What we do know is that this new year of 2011 is already shaping up to be one of the most eventful years since Israel regained all of Jerusalem in June of 1967. The potential for a major war in the Middle East has never been so great as in 1967 during the "Six Days War." How so?

Middle East analysts are pointing out the instability of various Islamic governments throughout the MIdeast. Egypt is perhaps the most notable nation on the cusp of regime change as President Mubarak is reportedly suffering from terminal cancer. Efforts by potential successors has resulted in a political quagmire in Egypt with the looming threat that radical, Islamic fundamentalists may take charge. Pakistan continues to wobble on the edge of a cliff. Iraq is equally unstable. Let's not forget the war in Afghanistan and the unstable situation in that nation despite U.S. and NATO troops battling the Taliban. Of course, there are also indications that Iran's radical regime is teetering on the precipice.

Our point for your consideration is that this year of 2011 holds the promise for momentous events to unfold far greater than in the past 41 years or more. The Alpha-Omega Report will hopefully be able to keep you informed not only of the obvious news developments but of the news behind the news - what's really going on behind the scenes - and most importantly, perhaps, our website's devotion to showing our readers how such developments relate to Biblical Prophecy and prophetic fulfillment keeping you the reader abreast of where we seem to be standing in term's of God's prophetic time line.

Yet even as we cover the prophetic developments unfolding here in mid-January, The Alpha-Omega Report finds itself in a perpetual battle to stay in existence due to limited financial resources and increasing overhead costs. We rely on donations to keep this website functioning and available to you. Our donations are down this month and we're now more than halfway through the month with some monthly invoices now overdue again and other monthly invoices due in the next 12 days. Once again we're behind the proverbial financial eight-ball.

Donations this month have covered only a quarter of our monthly operating expenses so we're once again in need of donations before we're forced to shut down. Your prayers of support are encouraged and needed that donations will be enough to keep us going not only this month but each month this year, so you and thousands of other readers around the world can remain informed of how prophetic developments are proceeding - and so that we can continue to provide educational prophetic studies to help readers better understand Bible Prophecy and be prepared for what is to develop in 2011 and beyond. If you can help with a donation, and are led by the Holy Spirit to do so, please visit our Donations Page - LINK HERE to donate via the Paypal link for online support and or instructions on how to send a donation by postal mail. With your help, and the Lord's continued blessing, we will continue to serve you with vital information for this year. Thank you all so much for your interest and support for the website and our work on your behalf.
