Obama Proposes 7 Year Peace Deal
For Israel & Palestinians

President Obama has proposed a new approach to forging a peace agreement between Israel the the Palestinians. President Obama is proposing a land-lease arrangement for the disputed territories of the West Bank and Jerusalem. The White House proposes having the Palestinians lease the disputed lands in question back to Israel for a period of 7 years  

What raises our eyebrows is that the quanitity of 7 years would fit with the prophetic notion of 7 years of Tribulation, though some prophecy commentators disupte that number to be merely 3 and a half years of Tribulation. Regardless of your view on that issue, we find our eyebrows raised in regard to the notion of a 7 year land-lease arrangement and the fact that Obama is raising the issue leads this commentator to wonder if our Prophecy Studies article on Daniel 9:27 might now be coming into a flirtation with fulfillment?

Iranian Air Force Defector Warns
Iran Seeks Nuclear Weapons:
"Ahmadinejad Incites War"

An Iranian Air Force pilot who has defected to the West warns that the Iranian regime is seeking to build nuclear weapons. The former pilot also says that Iranian President Mahmound Ahmadinejad "incites war" and is bad for the nation.

UN Tribunal Indictments of Hezbollah
Are Months Away Or Weeks

Depends on who you listen to at the UN

A senior UN official has revealed that the UN Tribunal investigating the 2005 assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri will issue indictments "in the coming months." The spokesman indicated teh indictments could come later this year or early next year.

Hezbollah has warned that if its leaders are indicted, Hezbollah will seize control of the country. Such a seizure could prompt Israel to take military action against Hezbollah and provoke a greater war in the Middle East between Iran and Israel. - More details - LINK HERE.
